The MK in the AN and FF are coming out of it. And looking much better.
The CES is slowly looking better.
I really need to get some vermiculite.
All 3 the Erkles still look picture perfect.
I am on my way in there right now.
Will be back later. With some pic's.

bossman....... the cutting edge label says to always add the Micro first to avoid nutrient lock up......

but you said you added it in this order: (2nd to last)

Mixed to 1 gallon.
In this order.

Plant Amp 2tsp
Grow 3tsp
UJB 2tsp
Micro 1 & 1\2 tsp
Bloom 1tsp

did CES say that was cool ?[/QUOTE

What up jberry.
I read that but I alway's add the highest calcium nute first.
Calcium in high concentratoin's destroy's other nute's.
I think maybe i'll do the Micro second.

i had a feeling u were gunna say it was because u should add the calcium first...

if it were me i would just run your concerns by CES....

i know what ur saying about the calcium first, but ive been using it as directed with great results.

Well you were correct the micro should still go first.
Thank you for the correctoin.
I sent a msg to CES and this is what they said.

Hey there Bossman.
Yes, you should always add the MICRO first, actually it has a higher percentage
of Calcium than PLANT AMP (5% vs. 1%). The difference between the two is that PA
is an organic acid based Chelated Calcium, whereas MICRO contains Calcium from
Calcium Nitrate. The Calcium in PA is just more soluble, being that it is
chelated. You might also notice that the pH will drop significantly due to the
organic acid base. Don't worry about the low pH, even if it is in the 3.8-4.5
range, it will adjust itself within the first 12-24 hours.

As far as Sunshine #4 mix goes, yeah I am not the biggest fan of it. it is
already fairly heavy on the amendments and, like you stated, it tends to hold
onto water and not dry out quickily. I thing that you are right to add some
vermiculite or perlite, it really helps to keep the root zone happy in my
experience. I have a love/hate relationship with coco/coc-blend mediums to say
the least. I am curious how the DWC goes, I suspect that you will find our
products to work quite well in such a system.

AlsoI am on my way in there right now.
But when I went in there last night all 3 the MK's were happy agian.
They all look real nice.
It look's like it will be close between the CES and AN.
They are neck and neck.
I will post pics today. I got to busy yesterday. And barely got out the rooom's before the light's went off.

What up peep's.
I finally found some vermiculite.
I just mixed my soil to transplant the MK & probably the Erkls tommorow.
I used the same pro mix #4 and added about 40% vermiculite.
It already had perlite that's why I chose the vermiculite.

Here are some pic's.
Pic's 1 & 2 are the MK's

Pic's 3 & 4 the Erkles.

I am doing AN nutes in perlite/vermiculite.
Great success.
Never over 600pppm
and only using Sensibloom A&B,
HammerHead, and pH up.
No other additives.
Check out the victorvicious in my sig.
I'm glad your doing this nutrient challenge.
can't wait to see how it comes out.

man its lookin like different strains prefer different nutes.... the mk is luvin some AN and the erkle likes cutting edge....the AN mk looks really good.

or it could just be the clones themselves... i get those types of results even when everything comes from the same mom and recieves the same nutes.

it looks like fox farm is the odd brand out so far.

Thanx for checkin the thread out.
I will be in you're thread shortly.
I just pulled a total stoner move.
I started the test with sunshine mix#4 but it hold's way too much water.
So I went an bought a big bag of vermiculite to help it.
Well DeeDeeDee vermiculite hold's moisture. I remembered that as soon as I mixed it in.
So now the soil mix I transplanted them into.
Is 40% sunshine 30% vermiculite and 30% perlite.
I just kept adding untill I liked the texture.
So I transplnted the MK's from 1 gallon's to 3 gllons's today.

It is lookin like it is going to be a battle betwwen AN vz CES.
The funny thing is the MK's where the same as the Erkle's untill last weak.
Ces was in the lead with the MK's.
I have been having issues with the soil mix holding way too much water.
And they all started looking sad and th growth stopped.
But the root's where really bright white and healthy.
And as soon as the root's actually filled the pot's the soil started to dry out better and they started to bounce back.
And the AN bounced back the fastest then the FF and the CES is just starting to grow again.
Once they all start vigouras growth again I will chop them and tie them.
They still have 2 more weak's of veg and are already too big.
But I want a bigger root mass that's the reason i do most of my training.

I am late on the update.
I like to do them on monday's. But have been doing more improvement's in the room's. I think I am done with upgrades. Atleast for a couple day's.

All the girl's look beautiful. With the exceptoin of the DWC.
All the soil girl's have been transplanted into 3 gal pot's.
Sunshine mix #4 mixed 30\30\30 with vermiculite and perlite. I flushd it all very heavily untill I got the PH to 6.5.
Then I let it dry out for 2 day's and transplanted.
They are drying out in 2 to 3 day's now.

All the MK's have been trained and will be going into flower 1 weak from tommorow.
The Erkl's have had some training. They will get the cages next weak. And will be put into flower 1 weak later then the MK's.

They are all still getting a feed, feed, water cycle.
Because of the shock they went through I have kept giving them the weak 4 nute's. Now that they look good again they will get the weak 5 nute's till monday.

The An girl's feed Weak 4 per the nutrient calculator.
Mixed to 2 gallon's of RO water.

B52 3 tbl + 1\2 tsp
Sensi A 3 tsp
Sensi B 3 tsp
Mother earth 3&1\4 tsp
H2 1&3\4 tsp
F1 1&3\4 tsp
Scorpion 5tbl + 1\4 tsp
Sensizym 3tbl + 1\2tsp

Ph 6.73 PPM 1088 I left the ph high to adjust the soil.

CES there weak 4 and 5 nutes are the same mix.
Mixed to 1 gallon RO water.

Micro 1&1\2 tsp
Bloom 1 tsp
Grow 3 tsp
Plant amp 2 tsp
UJB 2 tsp

PH 3.73 PPM 1380.

FF There schedule has needed some tweaking.
I veg longer then there schedule. So I have been repeated the weak 4.
Mixed to 1 gallon.

Grow big 3 tsp
Big bloom 2 tbl

Adjustd Ph to 5.84 PPM 1148.

I will be posting pic's next.

The DWC. I am not sure what the deal is with her. Here is what I have done.
On the 19th I noticed what looked like a cal deficency.
So I tested the rez and the PH had drifted to 6.41 PPM had raised from 1082 to 1174.
So I added 1 tsp cal\mag to 3 pint's water. Added that to 1 and a half gallon rez.
Topped off with RO water to lower the PPM 1180 with PH 5.20.
She still did not seem to be getting better So 4 day's later I changed it to a 4 gallon Rez. A 5 gallon bucket filled with only 4 gallon's.
And added 2 tbs final flush for 24hrs.
Then gave it weak 5 AN nute's per the feeding schedule.
Mixed to 4 gallon's of RO water.

B52 4tbs
SensiA 2tbs + 1\4 tsp
SensiB 2tbs + 1\4 tsp
Mother earth 2 tbs + 1\2 tsp
H2 1tbs + 1\2tsp
F1 1tbs + 1\2 tsp
Sensizym 4tbs
PH 5.74 PPM 954 temp 69

3 day's later witch is today It still does not look great. But growth had restarted and new root's are growing again. I do not like the brown stain's from the AN.
So today I tested the rez and the Ph was 6.12 PPM 1060.
I added a few drop's of PH down and topped off with RO water.
The PH was then 5.28 PPM 973.
Any suggestoin's Or tip's again are alway's welcome. I think she is getting better.
But It has been a long time since Ive done DWC. And may be missing something.

Here are some pic's.

on the DWC, is one of your products turning the roots brown?

the leaves look like they are getting some sort of lock out, how often do u change your nute soup?

could be a fugus also?

It is the nutes turning them color's. I started to wonder if I was wrong about that. So I rinsed them witk RO water and they were nice and white.
As soon as I put them back in th nute's. Bam brown again.
The rez temp's stay between 67 and 71 degrees.
I change the nute's once a weak.
But I also keep track of how much I top off. Once I have topped off half the total amount of the rez. I mix new nutes.

I would like to recommend that you dis-continue the Mother earth tea and the H2

Mother earth tea is better if used alone as an organic nutrient.

Use MET in your organic dirt grow.

Mixing the chemicals of sensigrow with MET does not add any benefit.

The AN nute calculator is very decieving,
because we think it will be beneficial to have a full compliment of supplements
when in reality, the calculator is made to accommodate a wide variety of growing methods,
and some of the supplements are not designed to work in all method of hydro,
and some on the calculator are redundant,
like voodoo, tarantula, and pirahna, all do the same thing
and combining them is very redundant.

I have found no benefit from voodoo or Pirahna or tarantula in DWC

B-52 will affect the taste of your bud
and should be discontinued during flower.
