I was noticing that myself.
They actually look pretty sad today.
I am new at the sunshine #4 soil.
And just realized that if I flush the soil 2 day's prevouis to transplant. Then it is less soggy and girl's don't stress.

I did the erkles this way and they did not stress.

Very nice. Glad to see someone doing a controlled test. Myself I have always liked and used FF. Subscribed for sure.

Quick question too, I read that you don't add ph up if already added ph down and vise versa. Just wondering the reason behind this. My hydro expierence is very limited, I'm a pro-mix guy myself.

So today I checked the DWC.
She seemed a little over fed.
The PH was 6.65 so I lowered it a bit to 6.19.
Yesterday when mixed the PH was 5.75 and the PPM was 1140.
Today the PPM was 920.
220 PPM in 1 day.

hey boss, as i told you i am doing my own side by side tests.... The cutting edge plants looked a lot better and bigger for the veg and the first 2 weeks of flower. Well im in week four now and the H&G and Canna plants have both caught up to the previously dominating Cutting Edge plants.

-just wanted to give you a update... they all look pretty even right now but i'll let you know what happens.

peace out bossman....

Start of weak 4 veg for the MK's and start of weak 3 Erkle's.
Last weak they all got Feed,Feed,Water with the Nute mixes posted on last monday.
So today the Feed girl's got Weak 4 nute's as follow's.

AN W\4 nute's
Mixed to 2 gallon's of water.
In this order.

B-52 3TBL + 1\2 tsp
Sensi A 3tsp
sensi B 3tsp
Mother Earth (grow) 3 & 1\4tsp
H2 1 & 3\4 tsp
F1 1 & 3\4tsp
Scorpion 5TBL + 1\4tsp
Sensizym 3TBL +1\2tsp

PH 5.56 PPM 1086 temp 69
Did not adjust PH the drift seem's to Handle that.

Fox farm.
Neither girl's where thirsty.

Cutting Edge Solutoin's W\4 nute's.
Mixed to 1 gallon.
In this order.

Plant Amp 2tsp
Grow 3tsp
UJB 2tsp
Micro 1 & 1\2 tsp
Bloom 1tsp

PH 3.73 PPM 1380 temp 70.
No PH adjustment.

Ok so the Mk's all look like crap.
The Erkle's all look amazing. And are getting the same exact treatment.
I never did add vermiculite to the sinshine #4.
And they started off in too big a pot's.
but here's the twist the root's all look amazing.WTH
The sunshine hold's way too much watr IMO.
So I am going to add 30% either Vermiculite or maybe Coco.Input welcome.

OK the DWC got 24 hrs of plain R\O water PH'd to 6.10.
Then today the same AN mix as above.
I have been chopping the hell out of is girl too keep her short while the root mass get's large.
She is so happy.

All pic's in order of left o right FF-CES-AN

Pic's 1&2 are the Erkle's

Pic's 3&4 are the Master kush.

Pic's 5&6 the root's of the FF MK.

Pic's 7&8 the root's of the CES MK'

Pic 9 the root's of the AN MK.

Pic 10 some drying nug's.

*golf clap* I think everyone here is looking forward to the results of this nute off. Thanks for the hardwork BossMan and offering another (researched and tested) opinion in the nutrient debate. I use FF in soil and have been very pleased with the results but like always I end up obsessing over whats out there. Thanks again for the dedicated postings and hopefully this will help to clarify what "the best" nutrient is.

oh yeah Im subscribed but I did that back in Oct...

CES is great stuff.
They have not won the test yet.
But have earnd my appreciation. So easy to to use.
Minimal mixing and no PH adjusting.
And incredibal growth.
I have chatted with some of the peep's that work for them.
And they are all cool peep's.

Hey jberry,
Do you have a thread. I would love to watch the test if you do.
H&G is at the top of my list to test next.
If you are not doing a thread then keep us updated in here.
And feel free to post pic's.

This is a great experiment I'm very interested in the results. Great Job!!!!
Thank's for the good word's.
They are much appreciated.
I hope all this hard work can help out more then just me.

subscribed. +rep, can't wait to see the results
What up reaver. Thank's bro.
As for the result's I am planning to send a sample of each plant to have the THC content tested.
I think as far as the potency part goes that is the farest thing I can do.

What up konaking,
Obseesing over different nute's is exactly why I am doing this.
FF has treayed me real well for year's.
Potency,flavor, and decent yeilds.
Thank's again bro much appreciated.
All the appreciatoin make's it worth the work.
what is making it extra difficult is the teater's are extra plant's.On top of my 3 plant a weak perpetual.

bossman....... the cutting edge label says to always add the Micro first to avoid nutrient lock up......

but you said you added it in this order: (2nd to last)

Mixed to 1 gallon.
In this order.

Plant Amp 2tsp
Grow 3tsp
UJB 2tsp
Micro 1 & 1\2 tsp
Bloom 1tsp

did CES say that was cool ?

What up jberry.
I read that but I alway's add the highest calcium nute first.
Calcium in high concentratoin's destroy's other nute's.
I think maybe i'll do the Micro second.
