Sometimes it's not that easy. It could be environmental rather than a food allergy. My dog still has the remnants of one. I can't figure out it was the new muzzle or the wipes I used on his sofa or different foods we treated him too. It's been a nightmare.

Beechy poo I'm sorry to hear about all that. As far as that other is concerned..take care of you first, the rest will work itself out ;)

I'm with @lahadaextranjera again! It sounds like an allergy, the lumps being hives if they responded to Benadryl. Remember I'm just guessing here. Have you gone to a Dermatologist for patch testing? That is the way to get it diagnosed.

The first thing is to find the trigger. That's not necessarily easy to do. I'd start writing down everything you were doing prior to breaking out. Each time this happens go over each past times notes. Something should eventually start to seem to repeat.

In the interim one thing you need to keep with you is an Epi Pen auto injector. Have your doctor write you for one. If this is an allergic reaction your body might decide you aren't being appropriately 'responsive' to it's need and your throat could swell up.

Definitely agree. I had one for years checking my moles. He went from Dr to Mr to Prof! That's how long I saw him!!

The throat thing could be terrifying. Another friend developed a severe reaction to over ripe bananas and he has an injection with him always now.

Try to follow this advice of writing things down. I had mine narrowed down to chicken or cheese.

Allergies can develop at any time of your life and are a pain. I feel for you! :)

I did all of this,for over a yr.I had a book of stuff.Did the patch test.Nothing!
This is nuts I had JUST 1 little bump last night for like 4-7 min.Burn like hell.then poof....gone.
Guess Im going to start the writing if it happens where I have to go to ER.1 more time.Like I said been over a yr till just the other day. With no bumps.
I agree with you guys its so frustrating sounds and is probly a alergic reaction.
I did take shots when I was little, for a sting. So I know all about the THROAT they were pulling in Hospital and trying
to decide to trake me or not.Annie how does the Epi pen deal work if you dont know what it is?
Sry guys if I repeat,Cause i really dont remember everything ive told yall and have told this to so many people.

Just my luck! I had chicken burgers for dinner from this local shop. This time I bought the ones with cheese. Within 2 hours I came up in an itchy blotchy rash inside my thighs. Took a pill and it's gone down already. It's been months. No pics! You'll just have to believe me !

Note to self:- just buy the normal ones next time!
