What the fuck? That is disgusting. I can't see this becoming the norm world-wide though.. hell, especially not in New Zealand when we're one of the biggest meat exporters world-wide..

Gross. Vat grown meat? I like my meat grown on cows, thank - you.

They'd better put giant labels on that crap, I don't want to buy any on accident.

same way you kill any other bacteria. no doubt this is being grown with bacteria.

regardless, I know if this is in the works one day, no matter what, I'll end up eating this shit. all of you probably will too. unless you find some way to avoid meat. or raise your own livestock (have fun with that . . .)

actually, raising livestock isn't that hard. i've done cows and pigs. well my family and i did back when i lived at home. we only had 2 acres and we had 4 pigs and an angus. sell 3 pigs and half the beef and you have free meat for the year. :weed:

I don't buy meat anyhow, most meat I eat through out the year I've killed myself and butchered myself or had some hand in it.

I didn't really read the article, only skimmed through it, but as long as it tastes the same and is somewhat healthy then I'm cool with it. it doesn't really gross me out anymore than thinking of them butchering the fuck out of a cow.
