Nice grow, those should do real well. I have a bunch of 100gl smarty's going this year also.

Have you grown on the deck before? I grew on my deck for 1 year & stopped. The run-off was ruining the deck!

Good luck

your gunna have some nice big bushy plants i can tell by the size and shape of your smart pots. I've always wanted to try a grow with those pots but just insist on putting my babies into garden beds straight into the earth so theres very few obsticals to inhibit root growth. peach and good luck brother. cant wait to see how this one grows.

Yeah the runoff kinda sucks but the deck happens to be the best spot ( sun from 730am to 730 at night). The sun out here is definitely intense, the east coast sucks. Wondering about topping the Romulan? they are kind of tall and lanky. Heres my tea brewer. I have two of the flexible air stones running 24/7 and the goodies are in a pillowcase.

In the Tea: Compost, worm castings, Bat guano, seabird guano (pelletized so i blended up to a powder), General Organics Bioweed, Diatomic Humus, Humic Acid, and Hi Brix

I have been alternating foliar spraying with: Superthrive, spray N grow, and am going to start using some of the bioweed too.

I have topped and fimmed a few of them, one by accident and cleaned the lower growth off after those pics were taken. Not sure about topping or growing techs. with any of these strains so if anyone has grwon any of these outdoors some advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry for the long absence. Ive been kinda busy. I added 15 more 45 gal smart pots for a total of 50 100 gal and 21 45gal. Ive got over half the fence up around the first plot and will finish soon. Everything is growing but definitely could use some more Nitrogen. I need an exact recipe for the tea im brewing in the 55gal drum. I gave them some botanicare to tide them over for now. Noticed a few spider mites on a few of them so sprayed everything with "take down" at 6am this morning. Now for the PICS

Yeah i def. got a late start. didnt get to Cali until May 16. I started with some bigger plants and alot of smaller plants. The big ones didnt grow for over a week after transplanted and have grown almost a foot since. All of the 45s werent planted until last week but they are growing much faster than the others. Also we had a big rain here for a couple of days that wasnt expected and i had just watered everything before it started so it took a week for them to dry out and that slowed things down a bit. Hopefully they will start growing a little faster now

Heres a size comparison on 6/26
Then This morning

They would be bigger if they had been getting enough nutrients. About to head to the store to pick up some fish emulsion to add to the tea

how about the tora boras
