Noob pH/TDS question

I was wondering what to do with the solution (in bags) that you get for free with your meter? Do you store it in anything? Or do you just buy an actual container of the solution(s). I was wondering mainly cause I store the pH pen in a lil bit of solution in the bottom of the cap, and now the package is open (only alil bit cause I opened it from the corner so that it would barely come out). For now im just folding the top down and scotch taping for later use.

Oh yeah the pens are Milwaukee pH 600 and a HM Digital TDS EZ. Both were pretty inexpensive (got them both for 39.50 w/free shipping from eSeasonGear - Free Shipping!). They seem to be accurate too (at least the pH pen for sure).

Peace:peace:

Are you talking about the calibrating solution? Because I know most testers come with something for you to calibrate your tester....

Yeah, the calibration solution, sorry I didn't specify :?. But yeah they came with alil bag of each. Atm im keeping them stored in there original bag package. (I just barley opened the corner of the pH solution for storage of the pH meter). I was wondering what people did with the meter solution bags after they opened them, if you only needed a little for storage of the pH meter. personally I've folder over the end and scotch taped it close so it doesn't poor out I guess this is the only way cause of possibly contaminating the meter solution in another container. thanks for the quick response .
