Simple is my object. When my system level drops to the 5 gal to full line(you did make measurements after you built the system, right?), I mix up a 5 gal bucket of nutes, pH that to 6.0 and into the rez.
If the solution is that far(8.5) from the preferred(6.0), it will use up the stick faster.

Yes, there is a solution you immerse the stick into overnight and that is supposed to bring the stick to new condition for pH control.

Yes. I've been using the micros in my 4 site UC system for a couple of months now. So far they have been spot on with zero issues. Flipped them to flower about 20 days ago so stretching quite a bit. Should be an outstanding grow,

I got the inline version and it was dropping my ph down to the mid 4s, was told it needed to purge the acids first and I’ve since moved it to my smaller system where it stays around 6.0.
you using yours @TintEastwood?

What acids?
Acids that are in the device?
There’s some little white beads inside which I’m assuming contains the ph buffering/ion acid. They said only the inline version needs to be purged, the normal stick ones do not. I’m assuming it’s the same acid that you use to recharge the device

I have no clue.
It is all a bit unclear what they use.
I wonder if this device will ever be sold worldwide as in many countries you have to be clear what it contains.
As I understand the recharge fluid is diluted hydrochloric acid.

Not yet.

I'm trying out Jacks 321 nutes, and absolutely amazed at my ph stability. I mix to 5.9 for coco dtw and it stays there for 3 days before creeping to 6.0...

Plan to use it when I get a bigger res.

I'm about 4 weeks into flower on my winter run and everything has been perfect, pH wise.
Just the typical hassle of running multiple strains in a common rez-always a compromise on ec.
I'm currently dialing in ec to keep everything happy. Got some tip burns on sections of plants but flowering is coming along nicely.
I'll try and get some pics this evening when the lights come on.

Still waiting on my pH stick, I am excited as hell for this using in conjunction with Tribus and flora nectar/ floranova and gh 3-part trio in my hydro DTW coco setup!!

I guess it will be good to see how the res pH swings with and without the perfect pH

Hey Nizza, down to do a case study of your results? If so hit us a DM and let's see if we can hook you up :)
coco dtw setups all done. Going to hook up the tubing and set timers tomorrow or something and I'll update with pics. The tables I bought are quite tall so I'm considering cutting down the legs.. It is very nice being able to turn a switch on to water now, and it will be interesting to see how the PH stick helps with it. I thought they were sending me one but I think it slipped through the cracks. For now I'll be testing out this system.

@TorusHydro Thanks so much! I have received my perfect pH inline unit and now will be working on getting a second pump to circulate the water with the inline unit as recommended in the instructions. I just need to get a second pump and once I set it up, I'll be adding some pics!

I also have the ph stick model so I will be designing a second system. I am thinking of a simple DWC setup for my micro setup. The inline will be installed on my coco drain to waste setup.

About a month later I have ordered the extra pump. I really want to do this right so I can see how well this unit works. I am now considering a windowfarm with the inline version, and using the stick in a small DWC setup. I've been very busy with harvesting/dealing with grow issues. Now things are starting up again and I'll be able to build a system. Stay tuned!!

They sent me the inline last year to test. I didn’t have much luck with it but I recently started using it again a couple weeks ago in my rdwc and has been nice. It stay between 5.7-6.2 although it hovers around 6.2 a little longer than I’d like, it does eventually go back down
