NOOB Looking for advice...

I have a 2x2x4 grow box with two 42 watt 5000K CFL's and a reflector. WILL THESE BULBS GIVE ME THE PROPER SPECTRUM FOR VEGGING? My plan is to start and veg the hell outta my plants on 18/6 (which are all from some KGB) and then stick 'em outside to finish maturing. I thought this might work because I live in a northern climate that gets its first frost in sept, so maybe I could get a head start on em. Should I start to flower them before they go out? I plan on keepin the hardiest one in the box to finish it out, just for insurance. I'm going to start a journal on here, and all the help any veterans could give me would be GREAT. Thanks

Yep, I used 5,000K bulbs in a 6-bulb T8 fluorescent light for a couple grows, and they worked great. Then, I finally switched them to 6,500K bulbs, and that worked even better. I have two of those 6-bulb lights, and I switched out one to 6,500K bulbs and kept the other at 5,000K, and compared them side-by-side, for 5 weeks veg, and the difference was quite clear....The plants under the 6,500K were 2-3" bigger,(18" average) bushier, and generally healthier looking than the ones under 5,000K. I was totally happy with 5,000K, until I saw the difference for myself. The improvement was well over 10%, visibly.
