So I'm already seeing characteristics and they match the seeds. There was 3 bigger size stripped seeds, then 5 smaller with one being real dark and smaller than all the others. 1B,2B,3B 1S-5S etc. well this baby here ^ is the small real dark no stripes seed. Looks like it might break records for shortest stacker for me and she's so dark compared to all the other!

Things are really beginning to take off now. Been raising the plants closer to the light each day, still stretching more than would like. Also another slight watering last night, plain r/o bottled water. Next water will be a feed with 2ml of Rock Fusion Grow, 2ml Rock Super Charge Root Tonic, & 1 ml of Silica Blast. image.jpg

UPDATE:

So a buddy of mine had a real small plant outdoors. The soil like mud so really never had a chance. Gona give a go at re-vegging her. She's head less, has been transplanted into a 3 gal w/ FFOF soil & placed under the 400mh a lot lower than the tweens/seedlings.

And the Tweens....anyone think they could be a bit stretchy? And this isn't to close to the light as in getting light burn? The temp is fine maybe little low on the humidity. Any advice appreciated!

I planted mine last batch the around the same time, I did 3 on 10/3 and 3 more 10/4. I think they would be about the same height (under a few 23w CFLs), except I left out about an inch of soil from the cup and buried some of the stretch after they started getting tall.
How close is your light? I'm at about 4 inches, and around 80f in the tent. Not saying I'm doing it right lol, my first try from seed, but they seem very green and happy and all have their first set of 3 blade leaves...
That re-veg looks interesting too, I tried once but got bored and gave up haha

I actually need to get a few things including a tape measure to get exact measurements. Are you using a MH or CFL's? You can see in the pic or atleast get an idea of how far the light is away.

I like to stick with 18 inches minimum for HIDS. Looks like yours is air cooled? so you could possible even go lower. Place your hand on the canopy, If your hand is uncomfortable your plants more than likely are as well. Plants leaning over/stretching = your light is too high.

I can't tell when they're that young but to me they look ok I would give them about 4-5 more days & see how they look

Thanks for the advice DG! The heats not an issue at the moment, they were stretching but after lowering the light a but a fee days ago we should be good now.

Your using a soiless mix or coco right? Thought I seen that, and yea there starting to really take off. I just raised em up to the light because there not really stretching but still not stacking like I'm used to seeing with some CFL's. Next veg....for sure will be using CFL's or T5 for the first 2 maybe even three weeks of veg(for seedlings atleast). No problem with heat above or surrounding the plants with the fans I have placed. Heat was never an issue. Gona stop ramblin now....

Making CanaButter & CC Cookies
A few years ago I tried making Cana Butter. Didn't taste good or get me buzzed. So I would chalk it up as a failure. I never thought a doing it again until recently.

My buddy told me to save all my stems from when I break up my green like from bags. Just save em up for a few months well I did lol. And this batch I/we made differently.

image.jpg

Simmered for 90 min in a pyrax bowl above hot pot of water.

1 stick of fattiest butter u can find, 1/2 cup a water stems sugar trip some bud. Never weighed before hand but collected for a while.

image.jpg

After an hour n half plus, we strained in the stems etc in a regular strainer, then threw into frigde. The butter and water seperated quick.

image.jpg

This butter was better in every way than the batch I made bout 5yrs ago. Mine were green green. Also this hit u quick. 15-20 minutes. They were the best edibles I've had let alone made :-) sugar over powered the weed taste :-)

Paper Towel vs. Cup O Water vs. FF Ocean Forest
image.jpg

the germination test
4 X Cup O Water
6 X paper towel
6 X direct soil

Which performs better when germinating? My guess is soil.

3/4 cup O water
3/6 paper towel (still waiting on 2)
And waiting on soil.

None have actually broken soil so it's anyone's race atm. Seeds that popped in water and paper towel are now in soil.

Live & Learn

So I've learned the hard way, YOU CAN NOT RUN A 400w or even 600w on a 1000w ballast. But in return we got a 1000w MH & 1000w HPS. BAM! also moved the room. Got a basement space now in one place and veg room in another.

Also ordered a 400w mh/400w mh with a wing reflector and digital ballast that switches from 250w, 400w, 600w and 1000.

New room pics....
