Awesome looking plant
From the pics it looks like your plant is ready to harvest. Anyway you could harvest the plant in parts and let the big colas with white hairs mature a bit more if you like. However you did say that you didnt want so much couchlock, and from the pics you have over 30% amber already.

I agree with you about CFLs, Ive only used CFls and I really love how you can distribute the light around and get real close to the plants so sides grow well as well.

Thanks! =) Yea I think I might do that. Harvest the plant is parts like you said. And leave the main Cola on there for a little bit longer since is still has a good amount of white hairs left.

And I think I may also leave maybe like 2-3 branches on along with the main Cola... and let those branches mature a little more.. so that it will be a very strong couchlock high. Even tho I dont really like it.. it might be a good idea to have some around.. in case I ever cant sleep.. or if theres someone who sais sumthing like oo ur weed cant be that good.. bla bla bla.. i can smoke anything. You know those kinda dumb-ass ignorant people? lol. Ill have sum of that powerful couchlock high and smoke a little with him so he will shut the fuck up.. and then maybe write on his face or sumthin for being such a dick! =)

But na seriously I think I might do that. And just keep the couchlock buds in a seperate jar so I dont get confused.

Yeaa, I'm really loving CFL's right now. At 1st, I was disappointed I only had CFL's, cuz I wanted an HPS sooooo bad! But now... I dont mind not having one at all. =) If I do get one.. it'll be a small one.. like 175 or 200 watter, and I'll still use CFL's to get under the plant and what-not.

Thanks for the +Rep too. Stick around.. I harvested a little branch.. gonna test it out. Got it in a shoebox with my lil computer fan drying it out as we speak. Took a while to trim that baby down. It was sticky as hell! But lemme tell you.... this bud looks DELICIOUS!! You will see.... just take a look at these pictures! Im uploading them now.. I'll have them up in about 5 min. =)

Ok guys. This bud was just beggin me to cut her down.. and I felt bad, so I did. =) lol. No but seriously, it looked ready to be cut.. teh hairs were receding back in.. they were mostly red.. adn it just had the "done" look to it. And I figured I could cut this one off, and sample it in a few days.. once it's done drying.. and then decide if I want to cut the rest down now... or wait until 4/20 like I had planned.

Ok, now I only harvested the top 1/2 of the branch... and thats it. Now I know usually.. for a normal person.. that would mean when they took pics.. they took like 1-3 pics....... Well.... guess I'm just not one of those "normal" people... Leave it to me to harvest 1/2 branch.. and somehow end up taking and uploading like 20 pics..... lol

Well.. even though I took like 20 pics of the SAME branch... in MY opinion.. each picture was necessary.. and every pic looks great.. but that, of course, is MY opinion.... Tell me what you guys think! =)


**PS, I weighed it when I cut it off, and it weighed in at 13 grams wet! Not bad for a small 1/2 branch. Cant imaging what the Siamese Bud branch is gonna weigh... or the Main Cola!?**

**I have the bud hanging in a shoebox, with a computer fan blowing in from the bottom. I used a sewing needle, and tied a string to the end of the needle, and then pushed the needle right through the stem, and then just tied the string to the Super Sized Toothpick looking thing. Just thought using the sewing needle and string was a good idea, and thought I would share it with you. =)**

wow great grow man!!!! im growing white widow right now and my friend said it came from dr. chronic. So far its looking alright. heres week 4 of flowering! I hope mine turns out looking like yours! Im using 3 26watts and 1 big 63w on top.

looks like a good decision, there's no way to be absolutely sure of what you've got with out a sample
don't know if this is something you'd want to do, but you don't have to let go of her
after harvesting the bulk, leave some small popcorn buds at the bottom, then turn the lights back to 18/6
she will eventually go back to the veg cycle, and start throwing up new shoots which you could use for clones

Arent you tempted to quick dry a little bit of the cola you harvested and check out how it smokes ?

thanks. =) Yea man yours is looking great! Looks just like mine did around 4 weeks. Im sure yours will turn out fine. I was gonna get one of those 63 watt CFL's.. hows it working? hows the heat from it?

+Rep for you tho. They look great. Just one thing.. wat r u using for nutes?? w.e. ur using u might wanna use a little less.. the tips of ur leaves look like theyre gettin nute burn.. Mine has the same thing.. cuz I must have been using too much nutes. i was using Schultz All Purpose Plant Food.. and using it at full strength every other watering.. but I think that must have been too much. Just givin ya a heads up. Keep up the good work tho!

Yeaaaa. lol. Samples are alwys good! The bud looks good to me.. like it looks like a normal (ripe) bud. But then again.. its gonna look different once its dried out... they always look more like "regular" buds once theyre dried. cuz right now.. its still wet.. and.. idk. u kno wat i mean. lol. it doesnt look like a bud that u would get if u were to buy some frum sum1. lol.

And I've heard of that before.. Re-Vegging. theres another name for it.. but i forget?? but yeaa... I had thought about that before.. bbut to do that.. your supposed to leave on as many fan leaves as possible.. since thats whats gonna give it the energy to stay alive... and i cut ALL of the big ones off.. =/

I have another white widow plant about 3 weeks into beg already sitting in my lil cardboard box. gonna throw her and another Mystery Seed in the closet once this grow is finished... adn I am actually thinking about trying to Re-Veg that White Widow plant.

VERY tempted.. Ughhh.. you see what u made me do.... lol. Im taking off those lil popcorn buds that are on that are on that branch and gonna try to quick dry them now. lol. it'll give me somethign to smoke with the girlfriend later on tonight.. Sooo I have till 7:30 to dry them out enough. =)

fan leaves not needed, or almost not needed
i'm on my 3rd reveg/clone cycle of a NL that i like
you can cut back a good 90% of the whole plant
probably more, but 90% is as far as i've gone
understand if you want to try a new one
but one things i've seen so many times, a new grower gets a great 1st plant
and they never see its like again, this plant looks pretty good

hey chb im still trying to decide if i should re-veg my plants or not.

i read that the quality of the buds improve with the maturity of the plant!!

Thanks man. And yeaaaa. I know how it is.. im subbed to like 80+ threads.. and I always try my best to stop by everyones once in a while.. but it gets hard keepin up with all of them.

I jsut FIM'ed my other WW plant. Gonna see how it turns out... maybe I'll just get rid of the other Mystery Plant... adn just keep the FIM'ed WW plant.. adn try Re-Vegging this one..? Idk.. I'll see...

Wow really?? Hmm... I always thought it would be the other way around.. lik e once the plant used up all its energy/food to produce buds.. the 2nd time it tried.. they would be less potent.. but like u said.. the plant would be more mature.. casuing it to produce more/better buds.. Hmmmmm.. Thats interestiong.. might have to read more into this..

Ok guys... Im home.. gettin ready to take Mary J out for her photoshoot!!

I will let you guys know wether or not i will be harvesting anymore of her today...s till deciding... =/ Such a hard fuckin decision!! >=( Its stressin me out!! lol. dont wanna harvest too early (today) and lose weight.. but then again... I dont wanna harvest too late (next tuesday) and have it be too much of a "stoney" high.

Me adn my gf smoked some of it last night...... Mannnnnn.. tha tshit was fucking BOMBBBB!!! lol. I'll give a more in depth description after i post the pics.. but an overview.. i smoked it.. adn for the 1st 5 min.. didnt really feel anything.. I only took a couple hits (trust me... thats all i need. lol) but then after about 5 min.. it just hit me.. lol. we were both all giggly adn shit.. adn talking alot.. then after about an hour... it was time for bed.. wether we wanted it to be or not... lol.

Ughhhh.. What the fuuuuuck... lol. I CANT DECIDE WHETHER TO CUT HER DOWN OR NOT!!!! this sucksssss! I smoked the shit yesterday.. adn it was amazing! probably like.. the best shit I've ever smoked... without a doubt... but im just not sure if I want to chop her down or not.. =/ Just found out too.. cops are comin to my house tomorrow.... =/ Thats another reason Im thinkin about maybe choppin her today.. the lil plants r in a box.. i can just throw a blanket over them adn turn out the lights.. this plant.... well this plant is a little harder to hide.... lol. =/

And for those of u wonderin why cops r comin.. nothin really bad.. kind of a personal.. family matter.. basically.. remember how i had to drive like 20 hours to Pennsylvania and back to pick up my sisters dad...? well he was in jail for 3 years. nothin too bad.. just assault.. (theyre REALLY strict down in PN) but anywayz... soo he came donw.. and I had a 17 yr old sister.. (different father too) adn I guess he was like... pretty much tryna hit on her.... tryna "get with her" and she told my mom (who is still "legally" his wife) and soo she fuckin FLIPPED and kicked him out the house immedietly... and then called the cops.. the funny thing is.. he has no-where to go.. he knows NO1 else in this state.. and the only place he knwos any1 is Cali.. where his mom lives.. but even she doesnt want anything to do with him now..

Sooo yeaa... thats basically it.. and the cops are comin here tomorrow with some counselors for my older sis.. adn younger sis.. cuz we had told her he was in the army since she was 6 when he left.. didnt wanna say he went to jail.. adn then she finallyt gets to se ehim.. and all this happens.. =/ soo shes is mad at him.. adn we told her that he was really in jail.... =/ Ughhh.. kind of a messy situation.. but basically.. cops will be in my house tomorrow... and i dont want them to smell it.. adn then walk in and see this monster of a plant..... lol

it's never good timing, but you have a plant that is definitely in the harvest window
you know your own situation, double check on odor control

ok. just was looking over the plant.. checkin the trichs again.. adn they are more than 30% amber.. which is wat i wanted.. theyre closer to 50% amber actually. =/ the main cola and maybe like 1-2 other buds probably could go a lil longer..but with the cops comin to my house tomorrow.. im nervous now.. i dont wanna go to jail and make my family lose the hosue and be homeless bcuz i wanted to wait for my buds to fatten up a little more... deff not worth it!

my mom has section 8.. sooo if anything happens with cops involving drugs.. she automatically loses it.. and they will be homeless and i will be in jail.. all bcuz i wanted to wait a few days for my buds to get bigger. =/

Yeaaa my guess was 52 grams dry... deff around 2 ounces is what its lookin like.. not bad tho for a 3 week veg and 8 week flower!! and only CFL's too! And my 1st grow with some "real" seeds. Deff cant complain. The buds look AMAZING too. And the smell........ Mmmmmm.. I lready took a bunch of pics.. but I still got a lot more to take. Be back from cashing my check in about 2 hours.. then Gettin back to work!! Keep the guesses coming!!
