So I have recently decided to get rid of the tent. This being said I've decided to add a 600 watt hps ontop of my existing 2 1000 watt hps. Do you think I could cool all 3 hoods if I use 2 inlines, one on either side. I'm running 4 strains from greenpoint seeds. 6 of each. 6x punch bubble. 6x lemon tree punch. 6x purple crunch. 6x ice cream punch. Germinating in rockwool. Then into a 1 gallon pot for each cube. The gallon will consist of 50/50 coco coir and fox farms ocean forest. Once the plants grow out of that I will transplant them into a 5 gallon of ocean forest. I have a bag of natures living soils super soil organic concentrate. Its a small bag meant for like 5 5 gallon pots. I will be trying it on 24 not 5 so it will be very lite on the mix. I don't want to make my soil to hot. Below is a picture of my room before its finished. I still need to put up my 3rd light and my filter.

I use q grow room but have been wanting a tent to have different grows at once. Photoperiod in the tent and something else outside the tent like autoflowering plants. Im thinking 5x5 in size. I figure thats an ideal size. Are tents that big of a pain in the ass?

They are actually kinda nice. More control over the environment buuuuuut. They are a pain to put together

did you decide to get rid of the tent cause you couldn't put it together? you lose a lot of reflected light not having a tent. and you're sure that room will be completely dark at lights off?

as for your plans, sounds great. rockwool>1gal>5gal is perfect. amending FFOF with super soil is gonna make a really hot mix.

If i was gonna offer any advice it would be keep it simple. start with 1 strain. do you have a water source that is reasonably clear and neutral pH?

Adding a shitload of perlite would help with that and is necessary anyway. Could mix some coco/promix in too. Also depends what he is calling "super soil". Some of the bagged soil that is being touted as "super" is pretty much the same as FFOF.

I'll be updating this weekly. From when my beans pop to harvest. I got 4 greenpointseeds strains. I'm not anywhere close to being able to give advice myself but can atheist finish a grow. Maybe not with stellar yields but ill have a harvest. That being said I am very open to advice and would gladly to any criticism to heart. 20201019_175753.jpgDon't hesitate to give me some pointer as this grow plays out. Thanks in advance for the help and thanks for the advice I've already gotten. Like my soon to be too hot of soil. That stopped me from mixing and possibly wasting my resources. Idk I'm blabbering.
