View attachment 1636882Using a 4 ft. two bulb 40 W Blue T12 all from seed about 6 different strains my buddy hooked me up with custom crosses Ak47 with GDP, Purp Kush w/ White Widow, Dur poison. I forgot the rest but will figure out as they grow. Out of the twenty some odd plants I placed one bout a week ago upside down in a Ice Cream bucket:mrgreen: and it took off still has the two starting pedals which are still green! I have now place 9 more upside down starting yesterday and so far so good. My plan is to veg out for as long as possible 3-6 weeks using Clearwater Organics I was sold on it and maybe someone has used it before it smells like ass so it must be alright. I'm going to place around 6-8 on the floor around the Quantum 1k and then 6 Upside down ones hanging from a support beam with chains or rope surrounding the light. Going to veg the last week or two with the HPS at 500 Watts then flower. I will take cuttings from each plant that makes it and sex them. Do i need a cooltube or can i just get them farther away and pump the AC or should I get the cooltube to diffuse the light more properly?:eyesmoke:

I hate to burst you bubble man. but the reason topsey turvey works for tomatoes is because they grow on a vine.
Weed will always orient itself toward the light. If you wanna make it work, you'd have to put your light source on the floor, otherwise the plant will just turn upwards and spiral up the pot. Sorry friend. BTW I live in Vegas too. East side off charleston, what about you?

I've never seen someone do one with the light one the floor (under the plant). That in theory would work. But it would be interesting to see lol.

No bursting of any bubble I have the light sitting on its side and I will take better pictures its turning and curling but its doing it so well that even if I had to change back it would still save me time. Its taking off no other plant is even close but its still to early to tell. I figure it can be done, now how well is up to god and me. I'm off the 95 in Summerlin would love to hear how you do it here in vegas I'm getting them about 4 hours of sunlight when I can here. Thanks again

The upside down ones don't go outside just cause at this size it's more trouble then its' worse. THe watering is less though about 50 percent less then normal. The stock is thicker the leaves are greener and there is no yellowing and it has it's first set of pedals still green too. I can't say what has been done cause online I have not seen much out there online just have to try it and see the pros and cons.
