Approx 8 weeks floral stage. Trichs all appear cloudy from what I can tell. Hope pics help, know not very good.0910100911.jpgStrain is unknown to me. Took best seeds found in good bag 2 years ago. grew last year but didn't remove males soon enough so had seeds for this year. saved some pollen this summer and painted on a couple of buds on lower branches on 1 plant only with hopes for seeds for next year. was told generations improve every year. Fact or myth? Look forward to reply, sorry for so many ?

They look ok for 8 weeks(correct?)They seem just a tad behind, I'd give em' at LEAST one more week! especially because the genetics are unknown!

As for generations, it goes something like that, the more the strain is inbred, the more stable the traits will be(taste, yield, etc.)

Thanks! always looking for good advice. Seems can never know enough. Just tryin to improve every season. And 8 weeks is a estimate. Some time in late july, should have wrote down day, I noticed they had started flowering. Calyxe's are starting to swell but unsure of how big they can get do to lack of expirience.

No problem! Just come back over when you think they're ready to be chopped and I'll help you determine whether or not they're ready!

Can I ask you another question? Can high winds about 55mph gusts and mega downpour knock off some of your trich's...it sure does clean your plants really good though...I know it's not a good thing to let the buds get wet but oh well, didn't have anything I could of used to cover without damaging the crops. I sure well keep an eye out for that black mold. Can the buds get frosty again?

clones took 2 weeks to fully root, transfered to 1/2 strength 5.5 ph rockwool/hydrotron rooted for 4 more days. Going into week 2 of veg what is a good ppm?

Well, THC is not water soluble, so you shouldn't have any problems with the trichs...but you can get wind burn from gusts that strong...

I really appreciate all this help! Hopefully I can start my own thread one day when I get enough experience :) but for now, i still have some more questions :/

(in a dwc/bubbler system)
-ive been reading how when the seed has first sprouted, it should be in an environment with a lot of humidity and heat. does this mean I should turn off all my fans and place a humidity doam on plant...when the roots have touched the water, does this indicate that i should take off the doam and turn on a fan?
-is it ok to cut a rockwool piece to get it to a desired size?

Well, maybe a dome for the first 1-3 days, but after that, I would take it off...
You should be able to cut it to your desired size...

And hopefully you'll still be with us when you gain more knowledge and experience...
