Ummm, there are a lot of great nutrients out there that you should look into(i.e. General Hydoponics, Botanicare, Jacks, Biobizz, etc.)
So many to choose from, but if I had to pick one FF product, it'd probably be Grow Big...

I was asking wich one would you get out of the big budz or chaching

what up bob, i just started my 2nd grow a couple days ago and I got a question

i got both of the clones from a medical dispensary, and they were in rockwool cubes. one of the cubes was smaller, so i think thats why the roots took off faster.. or something

something ive been noticing from since i got them, they've really drooped and have purple stems.. (they were both green stems when i got em..)

heres day one, followed by day 2 - then the attached pictures are todays
day1.jpgday2.jpg
you can kinda just see how it droops more and more every day.. im guessing its the rockwool being really wet. but i kept my water level even lower than my last grow..

and my last grow also had some claws in the beginning just like the one on the left

there are also some weird spots all over some older, bigger leaves.. kinda black/yellow

i fed them with 1/8 str nutes

any ideas?

also the longer roots are for the plant on the right - Purple AK47
and the short roots are for the really droopy, tall plant on the left - God Bud

I heard if you have a build up of salts in your soil...a vinegar and water flush will help neutralize the salts. Is this true to anyone's experience?
Never tried it with vinegar, but I have done it with just straight pH'd water...The process is called "leeching"

I'm going to need just a little bit more info...pH levels? Temp? Type of nutes?

just noticed it today i think the other marks are bleaching the plant looks healthy otherwise and no other marks the bleach looking marks are from spraying it a couple times when it was younger i think they been there awhile and only on the leaves on that node and havent got worse

i try to keep the ph around 5.7-6.2 but I get reverse osmosis + a couple of more filter kind of water from the local grocery store.. those big water machines, so i try not to touch the ph that often
temp is always below 80, i have an AC if it gets over that (mostly like 76-79)
i have maxigro from general hydro right now.. i only used 1/8 str

Nice Avatar, I miss him, he hugged me when we met several years ago, has always been my favorite singer!

i have a twilight clone in rockwool roughly 10 inches tall. it was doing well receiving sunlight and water, which was going to have to do until i could get my hands on supplies. i fucked up though. i read in a growing guide that human urine could help with the growing process. i peed a little bit in a bottle , then filled with water, gave it to the plant. it went down-hill from there. i feel dumb as hell writing this, since my plant was flourishing before i took a leak on it. now slowly but surely its turning brown, wilted. its pretty much gone. my question is, is there any hope it could recover? i wouldnt think so, but it was worth asking before i trashed the plant. novice mistake.

This is a tough one man...
Everything seems to be in check, but how is your humidity?
This may be caused by a fungus or mold of some sort...and fungus or mold may be a result of your rockwool being too wet...

Urine should be diluted 10:1 before used on your plants...FLush her and hope for the best...

i saw it at 30% once.. but its mostly 40-50%
near the end of my last grow, i forgot to hook up the airstone line to a bucket and about 3 gallons of water leaked onto the rug below. I took everything out and dried the rug for a while using a shit load of paper towels.. it dried up pretty well.. but i was still worried
so i made a "tent" out of panda film and sealed off the bottom, so you cant even see the rug.. im not sure if maybe mold developed down there.. but i dried it up really well.. and it doesn't really smell at all. even before i sealed off the rug, it didn't smell.. i put my nose in the carpet lol

oh well though, thanks for the help. my last grow kinda started like this.. but it picked up after a while, so hopefully this will too!
thanks man:joint::joint:

Hey Bob,

I asked in another thread but wanted to get your guru advise.

I have 3 plants (well 4 but I scraped one cause it looked so bad) that are doing poorly. What happened was about a week ago I changed the water in each of the buckets, somehow I messed up on these and put too many nutes in so they got burned. It took about 3 days for me to realize it and by then they were showing signs. Once I saw what was happening I put them in straight ph'd water, no nutes. It has been 2 days now and they are looking a lot worse.

If anyone has any ideas on what I should do, or even if I am over reacting and need to let them sit without nutes for awhile longer before I see improvement, I would be very grateful for the help.

By the way, they are under a 1000 watt hps, temps at 75, water is tap ph'd to 5.5 but goes up about .5 daily so I adjust accordingly). The ppm of my tap is 270 but when I caught my fuck up it was at 1000 ppm, ya waayy too much. Still not sure how I messed up so bad but oh well now the issue is fixing it.

The damage is done, just let them kick it in the straight, pH'd water...the leaves that are damaged should eventually die off, but your new growth should start normal...
