Yeah, less stress but more work. But they say stress is a killer so…
Even with the best helper in the galaxy, this season is still going to be rough. We were looking at the schedule this morning and pretty much decided 45 of our regulars aren't getting opened by Memorial Day. And people are still calling. The spring was so shitty no one opened their pools early and now the weather broke and they're calling in force.

Sounds like a good problem to have. Up your wage by 2 bucks and you might get the help you need. You get what you pay for... you're lucky if you get more.

Yeah we definitely are fortunate to have that rare problem of always having too much work. It still is a problem though. We started this dude at 12/hr which is pretty alright for around here for unskilled labor. Just gonna go h2b me a fine Mexican.

that ought to bother me, but you know what? you can either learn a skill of some kind, or you can labor. if you're too dumb to learn and think you're too good to labor, you deserve to be replaced with someone who isn't too good to do honest work.
