So, My 3cfm two stage is working beautifully, and I did a test run with my chamber a few days ago, reaching -27.5Hg's. I have added hose clamps over the valve on the pump and at the chamber. I am hoping this will help me reach something higher of course. I am looking for as much as I can squeeze out this this baby, so this leads me to the reason of my post. I am using a 1.5 gallon, pre-made vacuum chamber from best value vacs, other than my hose clamps, any chance anyone has any suggestions for me to increase Hg's? I am wondering if a wider diameter tube may help? I am going to run it again with the hose clamps tomorrow and see what can be reached.
