Upping my Oil game ....need info ....BHO closed loop...Shatter

ok it is simple i need to up my game .......for the last few years i have only need to make badder for vape pens and editable (yes i know but if u pay for n-butane grade 3.5 99.95% they can be used with food safe and legal)

ok i need to make Shatter but not on a small scale like 14 or 6 grams more in the line of 112 to 224 grams ....but i am unsure of how to go about it so many different stories/methods and do not have time for trial and error

i will tell u how i make the badder and please fill me in on how to make it to shatter in a method that can be repeated easily (vac purge chamber or vac oven)

passive closed loop system with a 1lb dewaxing column ........cannabis is not decarbed
dewaxing i use alch and dry ice ..just like for cooling collection base and recovery tank
hot water bath to warm up the collection tank for recovery ( water temp 135 )
recover until psi reads -20.....vac out the collection chamber to -30 leave in water for 20 30 mins (temp is down to 100 120)
pop oil chamber open put on pic cook top set temp to 120 make sure no bubbles are forming and pour out into tray ( about 10 15 mins from heat to pour) splatter platter from bestvaluevac

that is what i do minus the move here add ice parts for a passive system ........now i need to know what is going to be the best method of turning all to half of that oil into shatter form (shatter or pull snap i understand the strain effects it)

how much does a tray hold (like a oz) ?

this is just a cheaper form of the vac oven u can only do 1 tray/small amount at time ?......then why do i see them offer 1.5 gallons pots does it mean i can put a round tray in there with alot of oil and do it ?

finally i need the numbers temp and time
some have 8 hours some have 3 days ..........what are the right numbers ( yes i know decarb curve but 3 days seems why off at 98f )

what u share with me i will pass on to others that ask and i see ......so thanks for improving the industry..... we will get THC lvls to 50% someday in our lifetimes

looked at that

the amount of cannabis i process a rosin press would take me weeks to complete orders
the smallest amount asked for is half lb of oil normal is about 12oz and rare times 2 lbs

ok sharing what i have collected

120f is highest temp u can purge at any higher and it will degrade cannabinoids and terpenes (frist to go is CBGs 125f)
true dewaxxing happends at temp of -40c/-40f
dry ice surface temp is -109
denatured alch freeze point is -178
best decrab for THC is 221f for 3 hours (highest numbers possible lowest degrade)
THC vaporize starting at 314.6f
THC degrades at 185

so the whole shatter and passive making process your going to be given something up to get those high THC numbers trick is understanding numbers and temps

so again i ask for info please share
1 what pressure did u do your purge at
2 what temp did u do your purge at
3 what amount of time did u do
4 was it in vacuum chamber or a vacuum oven
* if was in chamber what heating source did u use
5 how did it turn out shatter or pull n snap
6 i would like to know the main strain was used ( make a list of known shatters and pull n snappers)

trying to do this to help other ppl too i will share the info in a complete posting minus all this .....but this is the work part ( before u ask why because i am the amish fucker i play it strait and want the game to advance to next lvl.....false info or ppl lying to keep secrets just hurts everyone )

i am asking for

temps and times
strains known not to shatter but pull and snap

thoughts and ideas on the equipment out there...... given i need to make qp to hp batches at a time

final any steps that are not standing out or should be known to make it highest grade possible can

want to take everyones data i can collect and see what info comes out of it then pass it back to ppl so they can up their game repeat this in a year ....progress the whole thing to the final stage make 1000s of ppl that are able to do it and form co-ops to put out the big boys of money

this state they get run cost plus 50% of the oil .........that is sheer greed

I can say after quite a few runs under my belt that the material is everything. How its been grown, excessive nutrients in plant matter make for a dark and sappy extract so do any pesticides and such, can affect the end product extremely. I think of it it as grapes for wine.

I get everything as cold as possible (-40 to-50), inline dewax with isodry ice column for 90-120 min, filter to 5micron. Collect without agitating, separate what needed scraping. Whack in oven and slowly rise temp until i see the oil can keep a soft surface tension and allow butane to escape. Anywhere between 40 and 50c depending on the run, when solvent bubles are gone, flip let slab warm up and vppurge til the same occurs. Usually the whole thing is done in less than 8h.

Ive had ridiculously great results with amnesia haze, the live resin came out literally transparent with a yellowish tinge. Well cure bud makes slabs that crack like crazy. Not a high concentration of mono terpenes so easy to have huge dabs of it. Same with nl5 haze but ye cousin strains.

Lemony but not fuely type kushes also make some great shatter.
Some strains can be harder to keep as shatter and will nucleate and separate the terpenes from the extract and become what some call sugar wax. I personally think its just someone that cant admit they cant make stable shatter out of all strains. I think even moisture and 2 degrees two high will nucleate certain points on a slab if unlucky.
But from a general starting point, if you dont overfeed your plants, dry them the old school way, do a decent 3 4 weeks cure at cold temps and freeze that bud you should end up with wellow glass in the end.

I get better results pressing then blowing cannabis. Same day returns, WAY safer, Healthier and super flavorful. Also cheep to process.
