$0.02 from a noob: I'd wait a few more days, based on my total experience of one bonsai 3-way topped male). If its a bit older the cut of main stem can be a viable clone you can grow it either under 12/12 and flower to sex ur plant/ or veg it and start the perpetual harvest cycle.

The lowest node i'd top to is in the picture, but you can chose any higher node if you waitUntitled.jpg

Ive had my plants on 24/0 till now, buying a timer at home depot so i can return it easily if need be, seems like theres alot of problems with light timers which seems CRAZY because that can kill an op.

I wanted to do the basic yeast system for c02, is this legit?
i have them in party cups (ones in gallo pot) i hwve 3 gallon smart pots on their way, can you go party cups>3 gallon smart pots >5 gallon smart pots
^I heard some say the roots get caught others say theyre easier to transplant from?

I've been out for a bit. Here is the simple cloner and the parts I used.

Sprinkler heads, you can try 360 degree, 180 or 90. I like the 180 because my pump is so small. They are less than a dollar so experiment.

Pump. I got mine off ebay brand new for about $5.00 shipped. The people I got mine from are not selling it any longer so you would have to look around or you can buy one at home depot or lowes but pay much more.

Tubing, you really only need about a foot.

This is what I use for collars. See pick above. Cut a piece off and slice down the center with a razor. (in one of the pictures you will see larger white ones, that was just some foam I had and experimented. No difference.

If you want to use net pots to hold your clones buy a hole saw kit. It's also good for making DWC and other hydro tanks for various netpot sizes. Very handy and almost a must if you get into DIY hydro.

I make collars for the netpots out of one of these. You can make 50 or more collars by simply cutting a circle then snip half way through to hold the branch.

Need a 1/2 drill bit also.

In the images I used only the 1/2 inch collars. I prefer using the net pots as the collars will start to get a funky after a week or so. No big deal though as you make a fresh one is less than a minute.

If you're really going to be pumping out lots of clones I'd go with a bigger pump than 80gph. Although it works you have to remove the filter on the sprinkler head to make up for the lack of pressure and it will only cover about 3/4 of the 5 gallon bucket lid surface.

Any tips on transplanting? Can i put it in 3 gallon smart pot (bag)
Yeah you can put them in. I'd do one first since it's your first time. I'd wet your dirt in a pile then let it dry a bit, put in bag, dig hole in center. Let your seedlings dirt get pretty dry and flip it upside down to get the entire chunk of soil out. I kind of tap mine just a little so some roots are loose and put in the hole in the grow bag. Cover lightly and water very lightly.

Don't saturate the soil in the grow bag, you want it kind of loose and moist, not muddy.

I'm not familiar with any of those products but I wouldn't powder anything. I would keep it simple until you have clones or a few going real strong and can loose one. I really can't give any advice here though, perhaps someone familiar with those products will chime in.

I've tried the yeast c02, I don't think it really makes a difference other than smell up your grow area.

Im going to make a slight hole, and backfill it in. My last transplant pretty much put a thr7ving preveg afghani out of commission. Ill look up some more vids on it, just nervous. Thanks for being so helpful, not getting much response.

Yeah you can do that too. Just make a hole in dirt of the new pot and cut the bottom out of the small pot/solo cup and place it down there. That is safe.

What nutrients and stuff do you use to grow?
I do hydro and soil and grow lots of things (regular garden vegetables account for most of my growing by far) year round. I keep it really simple, I was using Dyna Gro Grow for veg then during flower just Dyna Gro Bloom with a bit of CalMag. I can use both in soil or hydro. I have played around with fox farm trio and currently am using GH maxi bloom powder (mix into water to make solution) and a bit of CalMag for flowering. The Dyna Gro Bloom got too expensive using it with all my tomatoes, peppers and the MJ, still worked just not affordable.

I am trying some new stuff from a place called Humbolt County's Own

http://humboldtcountysown.com/

I got the sampler (seems like a good value you should check it out) and it's got 11 bottles of different things. Bloom booster, bud sweetener, color enhancer all that crazy shit so I'm going to give it a shot and see if all that is worth the hassle and cost. I just got new seeds in and popped an Afghani and two lemon hazes to test with.

Transplanting went well!! Im very pleased, I was getting nervous cuz dirt fell off the top of solo cup but the whole rootball came out and they looked really white with mycelium looking growth on them. Roots excelurator did its job, hopefully they BLOW UP now.
