56 in wide 19 in deep and 29.5 in tall

I wanted to turn this cabinet into a veg or clone spot. I have a 4x4 tent that could be for flowering and wsnt to be as perpetual as I can be. I was thinking ill just top and do lst on these guys ane clone the strong ones? Basic for the first grow.

When Should i put my baby plants (avg 2 real node high) in my 4x4 tent with my 600 watt? I dont have mh bulb yet, im twzring a part that dresser, maby i should veg under cfl in 4here for now?

Ive had my lights on 24 hours a day for like 5 days now..i have a small cool humidifer in tent to increase female wndnkeep temp at 79 about. Fan blowing on them for stem strength, ive b33n watering it about 2-3 times a day misting the dirt for tue bigger plants now i started pouring 4he water (distilled) all solo cups have drain holes.

I start with CFLs then after a week or so put under MH or HPS under the 50% setting for a few days with the light high then gradually work to 100% and lower it. You could go with the CFLs for a bit, just don't want to fry them with the big light when they are babies.

Ok..i only have three blue spectrum cfls anyway, others are red but i have 300 watts of cfl (one is 105 real watts) so maby i should just change to the hps..are there cheap conversion bulbs i can use (i do have a digital ballast)

The cfl are set up quick rigged and need to go into a fixed placement space bucket or something.

The two big are Afgani 7days old

Nice start sir, your fluro setup sounds perfect for seedlings/early veg.

I just ate a capsicum I grew under 345W of fluro, it was green and tasty!

Did you come up with a good method?

I've kept mine in the her8ies ziplock bag, sealed it and put that in a round plastic tub full of dry rice (not airtight), then put that in a snaplock plastic food container, and put the whole shebang in the fridge at 5C. Hope to keep em alive that way for a year at least

Its just in the herbies bag in a bag in a dark cabinet above the fridge..i plan on using them all (only 7 more fems) and buy morr and tske clones so its okay. Yours are set up much better...fridge sounds good i didnt know that.

I was looking into a couple smart bags and like 2 air pots cuz they get pricey.

Id like to do cheap c02 maby yeast and sugar for now..baking soda technique seems to do rapid not a smooth flow..

If you're going to spend any money I'd look at a good carbon scrubber and if your fan looks like this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/181241936549 replacing that with something more like this

I'm eying those smart bags or air pots too, but man those air pots are expensive and I'm a cheap skate.

Also, I'd look into making a DIY aero cloner, it's real easy to make and very effective, it's not very expensive either but very much worth it. I'm just getting up but later will provide some links for ya.

Thanks man. Yea ill have to buy a new one, ill return th3 booster fan possibly it was only 30 and get a combo fan and scrubber. I was looking at metal halide bulbs but i wm using that unit ror hpsnflowering to go perpetual, should i get t5 to go along with the cfl i have im makingnveg/mother area in a dresser.

I use these, they have about a quarter inch 6 inch flange on the opposite side and I tape off the section under the plugs with duct tape. They are quiet and move a lot of air. I've been running 1 for a year at least 24/7 no problems.

They are about half as much as the cheapest vortex type fans I could find from china

on my wishlist is a seedling/clone heating mat. The temperature controlled ones are $150 over here. Winter is coming

For now I'd just get the fan/scrubber and set the funds to the side for anything that might pop up. bulb blows out etc.

Here is a link to a video that shows the basic concept but not really how to make it. Essentially it's just a 5 gallon bucket, a pond pump with a sprinkler head attached to it and holes in the lid of the bucket. I made one for about $15.00 - $20.00 pump included. Later today or tomorrow I'll make a quick video. Making the cloner is a cheap, simple 10 minute job and is well worth it.

Did you ever get the metal halide bulb? I was reading this https://www.1000bulbs.com/product/91273/GROW-PHE600D.html and it says metal halide so it should take any standard bulb. It's not mandatory obviously but I think they work better for veg and it helps cut down on the hours of your HPS.

I was thinking that I might be going overboard. Good idea Ill save it for upcoming events. Im definitley making it, I wont bug you too much more but if you could name whst items you used personally for the DIY SYSTEM thatd be great.

I didnt buy the metal halide cuz ill be using the hps all the time (perpetual) so I need a new light..id rather not buy another whole syst2m, are T5 the next best thing? I was looking at a 4 bulb for 100$, I know nothingabout 4his though. I do have 288 watts of cfl but i was thinking about using this dresser or closet for veg and using t5 ontop and th3 cfl for sidelighting. Im not doing too many plants, i need to move to colorado i just have a solid family job where im at ugh. Thanks for helping.
