my first grow update with my status

this is a pic of of of my 6day old seedling of some bag seed i had to get sum practice in b4 my seeds come in.. this is my homemade set up that i made (please dont burst my balls im working with what i got here) thats 3x3x2 with a humidifier blowin in air at the bottom with a 2700k cfl
this is my homeade lights made with 4 6500k 1600 leumens cfl's and my exaust at the top.



my question is do my homeade lights need to be closer now or is it too soon???? thanks R.I.U family

It's never too soon. You aren't going to hurt them with cfl's, only HID.

Yes. This is how mine is setup. Light has been about 1.5" away since sprouting. Vegging with Cfl's, usually to go outside but now i have an HPS.

2 inches is about right. You can use your hands to judge...if it's too hot for your hand it'll be too hot for your plant.
