First time grow (putting CFLs to the test)

Thought I'd share my first grow with the rollitup world!

About my grow
-Strains, 2 Sour Apple from seed and 1 mystery strain from seed(was really good smoke, that I can attest too:eyesmoke:..)
-Medium is Kellogg's Organic mixed with perlite and worm castings.
-Watering is strictly from bottom up throughout grow and from seed through veg was distilled with calmag and seaweed extract. Now into flowering, am feeding with TPS one and have switched to tap water and PH down to balance it. Still using seaweed extract. Still bottom up.
-From seedling through veg I sprayed foliage every night with water/seaweed extract.
-A few weeks in, I clipped a lower branch from each plant and placed in water with seaweed extract and put on a 12/12 immediately. The result showed me I had three girls way earlier than I would've known had I not done so.
-CFL roughly 200 watts of 6500K in the beginning and throughout veg.
-Midway through veg, added in about 100 watts of 3500K CFLs
-End of veg, added another 200 watts of 2700K
-Currently 2 weeks into flower..
You'll see in the pics I kinda rigged shit from start to my current status...it's how I roll.
Note, I made the light fixtures for dirt cheap..

SCROG ....I know it's shotty as fuck and I probably should've done this or not done that, but first time, winging it here..the one Sour Apple on the right in most pics stretched like 12 inches in the first week and managed to burn 7 tops on the lights while I was at work:wall: anyway, she's recovering

I will have a look and thank you friend, this is my first female grow...I spent several months last year pruning a few plants to maturity only to find out they were all dudes, so super excited this time around and just trying to not make too many mistakes, certainly welcome to stick aroundbongsmilie

Trichomes are producing very well, had to add a humidifier in the room and have also noticed some slight nute burn..have scaled back the nutes and am moving along nicely. Hot some blackstrap molasses yesterday and will be adding that in on the next watering..anyway here's some recent picsIMG_20200309_191447035.jpgIMG_20200309_172401236.jpgIMG_20200309_191413957.jpgIMG_20200309_191505969.jpg

Good job keeping the lights so close, that's the key with CFLs and ofc the genetics seem to be on point man, gonna be a whiteout soon
Thanks man, been a challenge, but have managed..did have one mishap that burned 7 tops early on, but have recovered and all has been well since, looking forward to the whiteout:weed:

Been a while, close to harvest..had some ups and downs but made it to the drying/curing stage in decent shape! IMG_20200407_160614091.jpgIMG_20200405_204523082.jpgIMG_20200404_150748316_HDR.jpgIMG_20200407_160550540.jpg

Congrats man those look pretty nice. CFLs do a lot better than most people give credit for. Then after you get experience with CFL, it's super easy to get over 1gram per watt when you switch to LED/hps. Hope the dry and cure goes well for you :weed:

I found getting over 1 gram per watt to be super easy starting out with HPS....

Thanks man, it was a lot of work, keeping CFLs close throughout..with several plants it certainly becomes a challenge. I look forward to the LED grows in the future
