Clearly anybody who has a vague interest in SCRoG has seen that thread; it seems you are taking this very personal as if it were an attack rather than an observation.

I have been back through this whole thread and still believe that if more training was done earlier under the mesh with those taller branches the screen will fill out with more tops. You have misunderstood what I meant with 12 days into flower.

I also did not say this was not a SCRoG but agreed with Hank Dank's opinion that the main branches could have been kept under the screen to provide additional tops that is all.

No offense taken at all I'm definitely still learning as I go, I just jumped in with both feet on my first grow. The only reason I didn't veg longer was because I was concerned about height, I have small tent 2x2x4, once it started to flower. I can say that it definitely wouldn't have as many tops and it would be taller if I didn't use the net, but I definitely didn't use the max potential of the scrog. Like I said no offense taken and as I said in the original post all comments/concerns/questions/critiques are welcome. Personally I'm a hands on learner, so the more I do it the more I learn. It's all a learning experience right lol (and you get some bud!!!).

Right on, the idea is to get through your first grow with knowledge and some bud. I like the PVC frame idea as I am still struggling with designing my SCRoG mesh, I have 1"x 1" square mesh (galvanized 18 guage) which now seems like it will be a little small (each square) and on the sharp side, I got some from a friend who used it on a previous grow and it looked as if it required a lot of manual work (like daily training because the mesh holes were too small.

Although with the small mesh size he was able to keep 75% or more of the fan leaves below the net, I will see if I can get a picture.

Hey man - looking good SHO - as for the comments on your scrog, I can also say - a longer veg and tighter LST will allow you to move more of the plant to the edges of your screen before the thing really takes of in the 2nd-3rd weeks of flower. The trick is to know how long to veg and try to predict how much stretch you will get - it takes practice! Just think though, you'll be able to look back at this during your next grow and try things slightly differently for a better/different result. :leaf:

Thanks dude I'm just keeping up a good routine and she seems to like it. Some smaller leaves under the canopy did shrivel up and almost fall off on their own so I just plucked them. Im just assuming they died because of no light. Thinking I got about 4-5 more weeks, which I'm stoked for!

Here are some updated pics at week 7 of flower. They're getting nice and plump and some are starting to lean to one side lol might have to tie them up soon so they don't fall over. I'm thinking about a week or two left!!!

Im doing 12/12 from seed and now im hoping i get just one of cola as fat as one of yours buddy! Damn nice glad to see that 150 doing things ;-)

Mines under a 150 with over 250w of cfls for side light :-)

Thanks guys! I'll be chopping her down this Saturday as long as the trichs are mostly cloudy. I checked them earlier this week and there were a few amber ones and mostly cloudy and clear ones.

Well I chopped her down on Sunday and shes been hanging in the tent since then. I'll get some pics up hopefully later today. I didn't take a wet weight because I simply forgot lol we only care about the dry weight anyway right?!? I'm thinking I'll have a total yield of around 1.5 - 2 ounces.

I totally forgot to update this, total dry weight came out to 47 grams. It looks and smells great almost like fruity pebbles. It's been in jars for about 2-3 weeks now and tastes pretty damn good. I'm pretty happy with the final product, and when I had a few friends try it they were pretty impressed with it being the first go and all. Many thanks to everyone here that helped out. I have another grow going 2 chemdog seeds about 2 weeks old, once I get some free time I'll get another journal up.
