@Hybridway can't find where I asked, but again, do you ever use the UV lamp in the Amare? What kind of bulb is it exactly? I assume it has to be something close to a reptile bulb with maybe 25% actual UVB because I know agromax PURE UV Bulb is only in 2' & 4' lengths.
Yes, I use the UV. Last run I used it the last few weeks of flower.
I'll have to check for details but from what I know, it's a 18", T-8, UVB bulb. Not sure on the percentages.
I heard of a bunch of people over killing the UV thing & hurting their plants w/ 4' , 50 w , UV-bulbs. My plants are comfortable w/ this one.
I like that it's on a separate plug. Allows one to put it on its own timer.

Oh shit, I didn't know it was it's own plug that's very very convenient.

Not to be a dick, but there was a lot of $$ flushed down the toilet in this room...
What, are you referring to the .06 rubber roofing I put on the floor w/ built in pan edges? Or the Sylvania spot-light? They were $23 a piece, I know right!
To me, this isn't really a grow room. It's 3 lights flowering 9 plants. I could do w/o the HH, but the other 2 was money well spent.
Both these lights have NP yielding me double + their initial cost.
Stick around, maybe you'll change your mind.
I'm very happy w/ My Amare & SunCloak.
Especially after comparing them to the HH. I also directly compared them to my HPS. Both outperforming HPS w/ only a fraction of the electric used.
I've done threads on these lights already. If you're interested to see how they went, you can find links on my profile page.
What do you grow under & are you pleased w/ it?

Still need 2 seperate timers though. That's kinda a pain in the ass since 2 won't fit in a double outlet. Hydrofarm has a power strip timer I was gonna get just for the uv. Can run all 3 off it

I'm making up a bunch of single hanging 3590's also doing a bar. Cheap cheap. Ripped out my Mars hydro drivers which will run 2 2530's so 4 drivers and 8 cobs. Just need a heatsync for it. Total cost is just under 100 bucks minus the aluminum. Lol I'm tapped!

Pro-4's will solve our lack of light problems.
Maybe you're the guy to help me replace the cobs in my HH?
Post pics here when your ready mang. Love seeing your monster plants!

Lol soon enough. What's in the HH now? The only issue with changing them is the positioning and use of reflectors. Mounting and Soldering up new wiring is nothing. Getting it to fit right is the only problem I see. That's where I give Amare credit. The whole cob and mono setup is amazing. No one has done it this way. Then to incorporate the lenses to the reflector is top notch.

Great to see your interest. All I can say is just under 1/4 of my first harvest with the new Amare lights paid for all 3 of them. Not sure exactly on Cali's parts list but they do lack the efficiency of Cree cobs. Less lumens and more heat compared to Amare for sure. The website was hacked so it's a little out of order at the moment. There are tons of new lights available and also not all the original lights are listed. Send them an email. The owner victor usually gets back to you within a few hours. Tell him what your space is and he should atleast set you up with his thoughts and a rough price idea. He is always having sales too. There are cob lights, there are regular LED lights but no one incorporates then all in one like the Se series does. They are quality at its finest.

Yo hybrid. What do you think of a pro9 in my room? I'm probably expanding and taking your advice on the double perpetual idea. I'd like to harvest every 3 weeks instead of 6. The pro9 and the 2 pro4's in one room and the 3 se-450's in another. I just need to kick my wife out of the shed first.

Ooooohhh, I want a Pro-9 soooo bad. @TheMagnificent uses his w/ regular 7-8' ceilings & his plants aren't over intensified. But, I think the best way to get full use out of the Pro-9 is w/ ceiling high enough to accomplish the 4'-5' footprint. If you have 9' ceilings you should be able to do it.
I'd get the IC if you have the ceilings for it as its Probobly a lil thicker dimensionally.

The 2 rooms running 12 photos each will allow you to harvest once a month. If you use about 300-400 watts a plant w/ overlap, you'll Probobly get 10-12 plates out of each room. Maybe more.
When my Amare room is built, I'll be shooting for around 50 Amare watts per sq'. For max yields.

Once I get my 32" blades for the Cloak, I'm pretty sure I'll be wanting to incorporate these 2 lights in my final/real led room. Similiar to what I have now but much more light. That will allow me to grow tall plants too.
Right now, I'm shooting for 2, Pro-4's on one side in a 4'x4', the Cloak in the middle at around 3'x4' & get rid of the HH & put my SE-450 on the other side in the remaining 3'x4' space.
Hopefully I can afford the lights soon & execute that plan.
How high are your ceilings? Slanted w/ a high point in the middle right? If so, I'd definitely get the Pro-9.

the amare I'm daydreaming about is he solar eclipse 250 I'm currently using a switchable 250-400 over a 29" scrog they recommend flowering a 3 x3 with it but I would leave the scrog dimensions the same my stand is wide enough to run 2 waterfarms side by side allowing me the option of 2 plants which would shorten my veg time it takes to fill the screen I'm hoping to get this done around X- mas the se 250 doesn't have the uv bulb but I've really been looking & the se 250 is what kinda turns me on amare seems to have a good following of satisfied customers the price on the se 250 was $745.00 here is a pic of my scrog do you think this light is up to the job? I'm using a 4x4 area but the scrog only takes up 29x29 a 4x4 grow tent might be in the future if I move my grow into my house I'm looking at all options as my friend bought 2 vipar spectras but I would welcome the cheapness of one just don't know if long term I would be happy your input is greatly appreciated image.jpeg

I would go with the se-450. It's big and bigger than what you need but you can always grow into it if you ever want to expand. Send victor an email. He is a pretty cool guy and very knowledgable. Plus always doing sales. If one isn't current maybe ask when the next one may be. The uv is a very nice bonus and the additional cobs are worth the cost.

Viper spectra is no comparison. Cheaper diodes and no name drivers. Poor heat management and probably just as poor customer service. I dealt with it. Had 2800 worth of LEDs burn out and this shady company damaged the lights on return and denied me any refund. Took me months to sort out and I ended up being paid off to "resolve the issues" When I found out they personally damaged my lights. You may save some money upfront but the Amare will save you on heat and produce more useable light each minute it's on. Not sure if I'm lucky but my yields under them are amazing. They are one of the most important items in a grow room. Besides environment which I totally screwed up due to a faulty Ac. Regardless it's a relief to have something nice that will work and work properly. thats why hybridway, myself and plenty of others spend so much time helping others out.

You were able to PROVE Kind personally damaged those boxes?
