Just curious. I dont know if your still having the problem with Yellow pistils mainly under the light. Have you looked at these same buds under a different light? Like when your HPS is off?

Or even if you cover it and shine a flashlight on it, you may notice that it looks a lot different. You may even notice some purples or browns. Some people overlooks this when deciding when to crop. Your buds look WAY, WAY different under an HPS then under a CFL, or under the Sun.


I would go out to the shed when the lights about to come off next time, wait for it to go off, so when it goes out you have 5-10 minutes to check out your buds with a flashlight or indirect light before they sleep.

You will notice a lot of different colors, and its probably the best time to get good pics.

yep its gettin close still some issues that will cause reduction in quantity, such as the yellowing in the center causing smaller buds cuz of lack of solar panels i wasnt ready for extra additives that help when buds are sucking life juice from leaves when flowering. and mag and whatever else finishing flowers need and not knowing about mites until i had to take a crash course on them and go to war but i have to say im happy still im sure it could be much worse and pics still look nice if i do say so myself they always look better in pics. i cant be a bitch its my first time indoors what should i expect????


how much longer ????? 2 weeks?????

Plants looking very nice. I can't wait until some more bud growth. I'm only on day 17 :P I was curious, do you mist/spray your plants often? Maybe once a day or so?

Well if you're not supposed to, I would find out first. I just spray when my leaves feel extremely dry. A spray makes them a little better.

Just got though your thread and I must say its looking good. Im curious to see what kind of yield you get. As far as the center yellowing it look like their getting hot in the center from not enough air flow. Also with the buds that have the brown pistols some of its normal depending on the age. But I did notice some that looked like you might be touching the buds to much with your fingers < the oils in your skin will cause the browning. Or if its confined to a small section or corner and all those pistols in that section are like that but not really like that anywhere else you may have a male nanner or flower somewhere hiding in the bud in that section and those buds have gone to seed. It will look like a little yellow banana. Heres a pic of one covered in them.


Hopefully this isn't it but you may want to take a look if all those dark hairs are confined to one area.Keep us up to date! Good Luck and props! :clap:

thanks i know their not male banana thingys the pistels just browned and died on the the top of a few colas of the og and look old and past due but only the top 1/2 inch or so every thing below looks tits. and the yellowing in the middle of the grow i was thinking the same... about being too hot but they just yellowed and didnt get burnt and crispy and they are way smaller than the bud along the perimeter which i thought would be vice versa. i have a fan on full blast pointing right at the middle too. oh well im about done anyway and have to be happy things arent way worse like im sure they could be thanks for the input though

yeah i think they could be bigger but ill be happy with what i get im building a veg/mother area so i will be harvesting contsantly next round

This a really nice grow. I am also doing my first 1000w ScrOG grow, just a little smaller area. Mites suck...Cant wait to see the crop out results...

its about 9 weeks now flushed my last flush last night i already chopped 2 ogs i thought i had 3 but 1 plant didnt turn out to be og it is much bright of a green and is gonna yield almost twice the amount it smells kinda like snow cap to me, the og is awesome i cut a nice bud a week ago and started tryin it after about 3 days of drying and its good already so i cant imagine how good it will be after a good dry and cure. i cut the screen out so i so i could pull em out take a look take pics and clean them up it looks like i have more than i though i would when looked at from a different angle. the bubble gum smells so good . so do u think theyre done ?????
