aha! pics!!!
first up... all the plants just under a week into flowering... can you see the training i've done on some? haha, clothespins and "eye" hooks... they wait branches down nicely for a gentle bend, bushying up the plants...
raft, dgh, then both

and here are my clones, looking oh so much better than they used to (also are some blueberry and an unknown soma strain clones in there...)

did something a little this time for feeding... 2 tblsp biobizz grow, 1 tblsp alaska fish poo, 1 cap full of maxicrop liquid seaweed (about an ounce worth, i think)
fish poo, seaweed, and molasses (i guess the biobizz is derived from that gooey goodness)... seems like it should be a nice meal for all the mykes and whatnot that are now in the soil....

yeah its getting exciting!!

i'm HOPING to get six females out of the group

i WANT a male of each strain for me and my friend to do some seed making with... but ya only need one male...

some of the clones have! actually rooted already, i'm just waiting for them to come through their respective peet pellet or rockwool before i plant into soil...

oh, and a little new addition to the grow... some "sundew" plants are germing right now...

not MJ related at all.... but its this little carnivorous plant that looks bad ass and should help with the fungus gnats and whatever else checks out my plantss...

plus they are just pretty... i'll find a pic!

These plants tend to be on the small side, but they certainly hold their own in the carnivorous plant world. Round Leaf Sundews are the hardiest and most common sundew found anywhere.

The plant produces stems that emerge from the center of the plant. At the ends of these stems are round leaves that are covered with sticky droplets that are excellent for capturing small insects, such as gnats, fruit flies and mosquitoes.

If you have the fortunate opportunity of watching a Round Leaf Sundew capture an insect, you will see its leaf slowly wrap around the insect. The result ends up looking like a juicy insect taco.

so lights came on... 2 definite HDG females, 1 HDG that i'm pretty sure is a male, and one undecided...

none of the raft have shown yet...

Hey there Ian. Just checking up on your grow. Looks like my new grow will be about a month + behind you. Lookin' good man. Can't wait to see the final sausage count!

GoodFriend

Lumberjack
mmk... final count for hdg... 3/1 females/males

exactly what i wanted =]

now... if that raft would hurry up and show me their dirty parts....

GoodFriend

Lumberjack
mmmmmmmk

so a couple raft have come forward identifying themselves

splitting the sexes, so far i have one boy and one girl... i'm figuring my best looking raft is also a female... it's about a week older than the male was and still hasn't shown... and we all know that males will generally show before females...

unless its different phenos

and then there is another that i'm still clueless about

total rundown
4 females
2 males
2 unknown

now, i should be able to atleast pull in an ounce or two from each plant under my 400w hps once i get them under there... so i'm looking from anywhere like a 1/4 lb to a 1/2 lb or maybe even more =]

two of the known females clones have roots so they been put into little 3in pots and will hopefully hit the veg stage again soon... gonna be my new moms! the clones of the two other fem's haven't rooted yet so they're still in the tray... killed off the two male clones, and set aside there daddy plants so they arne't taking up any more valuable room for my girls... the two guys will be going off to a friend for some pollen extraction and seed production... as well as clones of the girls so we can have f2's of the HDG and f3's of the raft...

fun fun fun!

so one of the unkowns is a girl, and i'm damned sure that the other one is also... which would give me 6 females and 2 boys... PERFECT!!!

now sometime this week i'm gonna have to go through and start taking some cuttings from all of these plants to have as moms... though cloning hasn't gone the best for me so far...

i'll try and get some pics up today, if i can find some batteries...

Nice ratio man. Grats.

thanks, its turned out perfect... cuz the two males are going off to my friend along with clones so we'll be making raft f3's and dgh f2's... along with multiple crosses of whatever other girls he has in his room...

so this is what the closet looks like from my bedroom... gotta keep the two sides open for air flow...

flower chamber on left, shelves on right holding all my shit, and veg area behind the panda plastic on top...

see... this is what's behind that plastic vegging... my clones/cloning attempts and my two male plants... chopped down plenty so just about 2 or three nodes are left... waiting to be picked up by a friend to do some breeding with

now to the flower chamber... it kinda buckles in around the middle but whatever... i'll get that figured out... oh, and the venting from my cool tube poking out the top...

looking inside you can see the DIY cooltube...

and below that are my lovelies
hdg in the back, raft in the front

here they are more from the side... again, hdg in the back, raft in the front

and lastly... a little bud forming on one of the hdg (sorry for the hps yellowy pic...)

fun fun fun
hope ya'll enjoy the pics... and as always, questions, comments, and concerns are welcome!

just thought i'd do a little pictoral update
first... the raft...

and then the DGH

so, tell me what you think
i trimmed off the bottom 1/4 or so of each plant for better airmovement, plus it wasn't getting much light at all...

GoodFriend

Lumberjack
oh... and just to let everyone know... i run like 95 degrees in my flower chamber for more than half of the lights on period...

good air movement and staying on top of waterings will keep these babies chugging along =]

i've just figured i've been flowering for ~24 days now (give or take a day)... and things are really starting to pop...
i'm getting quite annoyed by some fungus gnats, and will soon be picking up some diattemeaus earth or whatever its called (ahhh, too stoned to look up the spelling)... but yeah its apparently a great organic way to deal with the buggers...

hopefully that'll be had by monday... and i shall be getting some bloom nutes soon also.. finally, lol

i'm gonna make an ONA odor machine soon also to deal with that oh so peculiar smell starting to eminate from my grow

i've had some more heat problems and so a few clones have given up on me... but the lil bubble cloner is chugging along and hopefully i'll get atleast one of each to root...

though i do have 1 clone of each doing real well already potted and working on new growth everyday... +1 for hardiness for those two plants... will keep that in mind when choosing my moms...

these two strains are both starting to appear quite resinous at this point

kudos to both of you!

Gosh Ian. Thats a damn good grow you have there. They look strong and healthy.
Good job with the details of your journaling.
Very clearly stated.
