Alright guy's , just while we are on the subject of pot's and materials , could i get both your opinions on these please ? i know they are nothing new , but something i have never tried , i just wondered what you think of these ?
Anygood or commercial Hype ?
Bear the price in mind.....

I'm sure they work but I can't imagine that they work that much better than the felt - if any better. With cost in mind they wouldn't be my choice - I can't imagine cheaper felt pots and considerable more soil working worse than a smaller air pot with much less soil (same total price). A comparison might be fun though.

That's an idea ,
i will buy 1 10l air-pot , and i have 10l normal pots,
Use 2 clones (BB cheese) and do a direct comparison in the same medium, same conditions....

Price comparison:

6 x 5g air pots: $63 ($10.50 each)
2 Happy Frog 2ft^3 (15 gal): $14 each - $28
total: $91

6 x 7g felt pot ($5.50 each): $33
3 Happy Frog 2ft^3 (15 gal): $14 each - $42
Total: $75

Yeah, you get more soil and it's still less expensive. Think 5g air pots would out perform 7g felt pots? Now just think if you made the felt pots yourself...

For the same price you might be able to do 10g felts versus 5g air pots... Think the air pots work twice as well? I dunno...

I was thinking less of the price and more which would perform better using the same amount of medium in the same litre pot , it would be just as easy to justify the cost judging from the results , plus , the initial outlay would not be much as i'd only be doing a 1 pot comparison , i always work in litres(uk thing lol) gallons confuzzle me(dnt take much),
So 2 pots , 10L, rockwool/hydroleca , same feed pattern , my result would come from extra grams grown , or not,
can i keep it this simple and get the desired result ?

SOunds like a great experiment. Looking forward to seeing the results.

It cost me 5$ of landscape fabric on sale and I had enough to make a bunch of pots... I washed it really good and I am reusing it, in the green bucket anyway... there was so much soil that for the most part I could get rid of most of the roots. I dont really want to spend more money this year so that is why I am reusing it... so yeah its pretty cheap this way. And 2 of the big container in the room are just regular container, unfortunately, one of the 4 females seem to have hermied... I will look again when light goes on but it looks like I am down to 3.

I chopped the BM today, I may get 4 oz out of it but I think more like 3.5...

so BM:



Grapefruit going in the Jar... I let it dry a little too much I think. The final weight for the grapefruit is at 80grams. so less than 3 oz

The AK is totally ready to smoke, really potent, taste fine but nithing spectacular... I must improve my dry-cure... something to focus on the next grow. I can still do good with the BM, the Grapefrui might turn out well. Here a sht of the AK

So final weight should be around 8-9 oz. Nothing went wrong and I got some premium weed to smoke...just wish I had gotten more!!

Time to make some hash!! I hope I have enough sugar leaves, I will do the gumbo bubble hash method, done it before with good result but it was with a lot of trim, not my trim... no bags required

Well i have given Rep to other people and i still can't seem to Rep you Enduro sorry man , i even had a message from a MOD saying that the Issue had been resolved , but alas , still the same , so fook it , but know i am feeling your work umbre!!

After drying the grapefruit too much, there is not enough moisture in it to cure (jar at 55%RH after 24hour of being in the jar), 1 jar I put 2 small lemon peal, the other nothing. The buds truly smell like grapefruit, the bag appeal is premium in my opinion and the high is great, productive kind of high while feeling very relax... The taste is awesome, compare with the best buds I have ever smoked, too bad I fucked up the cure, still a lot tastier than the AK!! The fact that its organic makes it even more enjoyable to smoke!

Sounds great! I wouldn't say you fucked up the sure so quickly - it often takes a month to several to get the best flavor/scent. I personally have fucked up more cures by jarring too wet than too dry. Wish you lived closer so we could trade nugs, that grapefruit sounds amazing.

I say I fucked up because apparently if you dry the buds too much before jarring, no cure will occur, it's too late, and there is no way back. I read that on Kyle Kushman webiste somewhere

That's assuming you dried them out too much... You would be amazed at how much moisture sticks tot he center of the buds. Keep them nice and sealed and the trapped moisture will even distribute - there is a chance you'll be ok. Might be right and have fucked it up but at the same time you might be wrong Keep em sealed nice and long and you might be pleasantly surprised.

oh yeah I will keep them sealed, they are perfect to smoke right now and they still smell and taste really good, I wonder how good it would be with proper cure-dry

I have also done this , and although not as good , it still has an effect ,
the longer my buds sit in my wooden personal box , even when dry , it still improves as time goes by , spec the taste....
And as Gastanker said , the larger buds that feel dry totally to touch still retain moisture in the centre , you can still use this ..

I hit a bad batch of seeds, lots of male or hermies from this batch. I got 4 females and the rest look male or hermi. Do they usually show both sex at the same time? maybe they are females with balls I dont know hehe..
