Howdy!
Anybody can reply to this journal, it is totally open for questions and discussions.
I have 4 years prior experience with perpetual harvests, but I am doing things different this time. For years I had used bottled nutrients in coco medium. This time I am growing in organic living soil. Its been about 2 years since my last grow.

Took these pictures today. I will work on lighting for the next images, still learning to use my camera and I think I will need to remove them from other light sources before taking the next pictures. I just kept the LED light where it was and some of the images look kind of shitty. I will take them out of the tent next time.

This first post is just to get the journal started. Will update when change is noticeable. Thanks for reading!

Its been 2 weeks and the girls have moved into the 4x4 tent, with a 480w LED (on 25%) and a 6 inch exhaust on lowest. The LED is far above the plants, no stretch yet. I need to purchase 2 more bars for my seedling light to make it have a 100w mode. It is silly putting 4 seedlings this size into a 4x4 when they can still fit in the easier to manage shorty but I have already spent enough money.

Getting back into growing I also made a mistake. Some of the first single finger leaves and some of the newer 3 finger leaves began to wrinkle, and some of them were turning sideways. Humidity was good. Temp was not great, but not bad I thought. Maybe an issue with the heat mat so I removed it with no change. I then considered it might be the pH of my water, so I checked and it was 6.5.

Saw an old post on a forum where a person with the same temp/humidity as me had the same issue as me. His problem was his oscillating fan being on at that temperature caused a cooling + drying effect on the early leaves which caused them to crinkle and curl so I turned off the fan.

4 hours later all 4 of my plants were were perked up. Within 24 hours they went back to normal. For now a very small heater I just purchased is maintaining temperature near the tent, turned off at night. I thought because the fan wasn't rustling the leaves it wouldn't be an issue, but just the cool air circulating around them was bad enough. Good news is that only some of the first single finger leaves and some of the 2nd 3 finger leaves were effected, none of the new true growth or node growth has been effected.

Changing to LEDs really gave me a spin. I have never before had to deal with the cold, I only ever had to reduce heat from globes. Having to produce heat is new to me.

They have also began to drink a lot more water. In the next 2 weeks I am going to top them and transplant them into 1 gallon pots after they recover. These 2 pictures are the plants most effected by my fuck-up.

Right now I am mostly praying to God I don't drop the ball again. I feel real stupid.

Being new to living soil and LEDs is why I chose to sprout freebie seeds first. I will post another update when more change is noticeable.
