Mo what are you going to do about all the cold temps coming over the next couple months? I'm trying to figure that one out too for my outdoor. This is my first outdoor since the 90's.. I only did 2 batches a year apart back then. Its going to start dropping to the 40 and 30 degree temps at night here pretty soon.

I have added plastic sheeting to one of my cage cubes I used for the blueberries. It is surrounding the AOS and MB clones. The wall retains some heat when the sun is out. We will see what happens. Those plants are looking pretty damaged after the bath of BT I gave them after seeing pillars. Sun is out - I should get some pics :)

aaahhh that some dank AOS

I found a pop up tent 4x4x4. That's the same plastic sheeting for $30.

I was reading the frost thread in the outdoor section. People's plants were handling temps as low as 25 degrees... I do have a laundry room / closet type shed. I could move them into. But that would be a pain in the ass to do everyday. I'm buying new lights in a couple weeks though. Bills and some other bullshit... So I don't want to spend the money on a tent.. I'm putting 2 more plants outside in 2 weeks. Then that's is til Feb.

OK - the helicopter stopped circling the house so I can go out and harvest the AOS, MB, and Scott's.

I live near the freeway so they are always chasing somebody (that I used to know, somebodyeeeeee...) oh god now that is stuck in my head ahhhhhh!

So I had some fun chopping the Scott's. It was so dank with white crystals and...wait, those are not trichs. Where is my scope... Oh shit, it's PM!

I was fuming. I knew I should have pulled her sooner. I just wanted to get a nice amber crusted bud. But all was not lost...

Two of the bigger buds had no PM (scoped them to make sure) so they are drying.

But even better, when I went through some of the buds to look for PM, I found a very big calyx. I nervously took the tip of my scissors and pushed away the outer layer to expose a beautiful seed!

I was so excited that I opened my seed drawer to get the bag with the empty Scott's OG pack and what should I discover? I still have some of the original Scott's seeds. I opened the container and poured out the seeds to compare them. The new seed is so much better! Bigger darker and yet the same pattern - or lack thereof.

So much excitement and I even tried to get some pictures through the scope. It did work but the subject matter was lame. Way too hard and wasted too much time.

Didn't have time to chop the AOS or the MB - I hope they have not gotten the dreaded PM!

Cheers,
Mo

Oh another surprise in the trim shed - the MuMoBG smells like pineapple! Jarred her up and I will see how the scent matures. So stoked :)

Just chopped the AOS and the MB. Very dense and sticky. Minor PM spots and bug damage. AOS smells amazing - like kerosine - and the MB does not smell (or I broke my nose on the AOS :))

No seeds - the calyxes on the AOS are the size of sunflower seeds and hollow.

I opened my worm bin today to throw in some more goodies and everything was gone! It just looked like worm castings with twigs and eggshells! I moved some of the top layer away and the worms are still there No freezing, no food processing, just big chunks fed to them and it is all gone! Hope they enjoy the new food.

All of the clones are outside now - well, except one Jesus OG #1 clone that is just exploding. All of the clones are starting to flower.

Transplanted the big JOG #1 to the MuMoBG pot, fed her some goodies and some B12, and put her in the cube.

Have you ever done the peroxide wash? I havent tried but know there are a few that have said positive stuff about it.

Thanks - I have watched the video. Too much work for me - I am just too busy. That is why everything is outside dying. :P

Peroxide works alright if you don't mind getting cold, wet, and putting some labor in. But CO2 in bags is the lazy mans miracle cure, and then you don't have to dry them in front of a fan or anything.

I have some weeds growing in the garden and they are getting PM. I should have hit them with the torch and cleaned out my garden. I just wanted to see how far past September I could push the plants.

Collected more Jilly Bean pollen today. The other males are balling up nicely and will soon be moved inside to avoid the wind. I want to collect all of that goodness :)

Now that I have decided to construct frames to put up the screen in the inaccessible areas, I needed to get some supplies. I picked up some 2x2 redwood and made and mounted another frame yesterday. It was so much easier and the staples are going in perfectly!

Next few openings will have the plexiglass instead of screen to keep prying eyes out of my garden.

Collected a ton of Jilly Bean pollen today and moved the boys inside. One of the Jesus OG boys is a girl :P Moved her outside with the others - taking clones tonight.

I was taking pictures of the garden and I got to the AOS#6 clone where I left a few bottom buds. It had this huge dead calyx at the bottom. I looked closer and it was a seed! Unknown father...

Can't wait to post the pics!

AOS calyx similar to the one that contained the seed:

The one with the seed was almost black. Wasn't sure if there was a seed because of the dark color and then I went and dropped the seed in the pool! Recovered it and dried it off on my shirt. Layed it out in the sun and took a few pictures.

Original AOS Seeds for comparison:
