managed to finish some color strips today.
First the 660nm, thermal managment is looking promissing.
Driven with 300mA we have just 40c,

driven with 400mA (max i would use anyway) were at 46c.

Took me 4 designs to get there but am surprised what cheap FR4 can do if you use it right.

The PPF/W (PPF/J) ratio is also quite nice.

Cant wait to have all complete :-)

Hey cob shop. Any chance you could say what reds you got?

Also i might be in the market for a flir thermometer, whats yours like and how many €¥$?

more n more strips finished.
Some UVA, some far red, quite some 660nm on extra channels.
The extra strips are made to went in between the bridgelux strips, snug fit, just need some finishing.
Scratching my head about the final arrangement of the extra color srips.
Pretty modular stuff.

So here it is in action.
3000k 80CRI, 660nm, 730nm, 365nm.
P1030125.JPG
the 730nm and 365 are not really within our visual range, so they appear very dim.

P1030130.JPG
P1030131.JPG
only 660nm on
P1030134.JPG
The 3000k main light as the 660nm strips are pwm dimmable.

I used one 8w meanwell for the 365nm leds a 6w meanwell for the 730nm and a HLG-40-48A/B for the 660nm.

Thats it so far.

How many of reds, far reds etc and what current etc are you aiming for?

48 x 660nm, 12 x 730nm, 12 x 365nm.

660nm:
HLG-40-48V, set to about 52V, makes 40W at the wall.
I aim to keep them under 400mA each led, will drive em with about 300mA in the all in all 30W region.
Aim for about 10% of the main light, if you convert ppfd 1:1 which dont work, but anyway, roughly.

730nm:
is driven by a 12V 500mA, makes 250mA each led.

365nm:
is driven by a 8w 24V CC 350mA driver, makes 175 each led, the low nm uv shouldnt be driven that hard.

have to say really loving these gosund smart plugs.
Setup was easy and so far they work very reliable.
Main reason to buy these was that i needed a more precise timer for the far red, but am impressed what you all get for these few bucks.

hardly can be smaller.
Theyre avaiable for all countries, can just recommend!

a little update.
i put some critical 2.0 under the lights, just using the 3000k 80cri channel so far, wanna veg them a bit more.
as always it takes me a bit time till i have it dialed in with a new setup.
the plants where not able to take 80w (wall), the light is about 30cm away from the tops.
P1030152.JPG
i dimmed the light down to 48w and theyre going better now 48h later.
Hope to be able to give them some stronger light soon.

CO2 Temp RH level is ok, me think.
