Mirrors?

Does anyone use mirrors outdoor to reflect the light back onto the plant? It's like putting a damn spotlight on the plant. I have two sqaure tile size mirrors I'm reflecting the light from he underside onto the plant. Just wondering if anyone has tried, or heard of anyone trying this? Dont think it will be to much sunlight do you? Like I said it's like a spotlight. Like you were shining a light with a mirror in somebody's eye. I didn't even look into the mirror, and I have spots from the bright ass shit.

Yeah I have done this cause my plants were in a corner where they only got like 10hrs of direct light so I had some full length mirrors that I would reflect the sun onto my plants with, I think it helped I ended up with 2 plants over 5'.

as far as i know, mirrors reflect the light that we can see, but absorb the light the plant needs. so basically mirrors are a no unless you want the mirror to signal the pot choppers (hey look down here)

Mirrors and other shiny objects can create concetrated "hot spots" of light that can burn holes into your leafs. Dont do it. If you want some reflection, surround your plants with some white material or mylar.

Mirrors can also focus the light causing hotspots and burning. Not a good idea in my opinion.

yup as said above they put out tons of heat and isnt a very good idea

Lol really, more weed less coke I think its makin u too paranoid. If the mirror is positioned to reflect the sun onto the plant how is the dumbass in da choppa gonna c it reflecting up into the sky? That and I seriously doubt that they have those fliers going over residential areas looking for an illegal 2 plant grow.

umm, maybe you haven't heard, but they use mirrors in rescue operations.. if a person is stranded, mirrors rock at getting the attention of a passing plane as the light can be seen for miles..

i dont watch all those survival shows for nothing. when your using your mirror to check your hair, i will be getting rescued.
