AM I SEEING THINGS OR WILL THIS STUFF KILL ME OR IS IT GOING TO BE TWICE AS BIG OF FLOWERING, TWICE AS BIG BUDS AND TWICE THE RESIN IT APPEARS TO HAVE NOW? THIS IS UNDER CALIFORNIA SUN ,IN THE LETTUCE CAPITOL OF EARTH .SO ANYONE USE MIRRORS FOR UNDER LEAF GROWING FROM REFLECTIVE SUNLIGHT I MOVE MY MORRORS EVERY HOUR TO KEEP THE LIGHT WHERE I WANT IT TO GO

Cannabis naturally tracks the sun (with no brain or anything) with it's own leaves, and has adapted perfectly the way nature intended. Hot spots of light, whether it be natural sun or even HID or LED can be a real concern. The cool part is the sun is constantly moving so even if you leave the mirror and walk away it will never really focus in on one spot for too long, but how long is too long?

I reside on the bottom side of a hill, so it's been kind of a crazy dream to rig up auto tracking mirrors that lead all the way from the only sunny spots back to the greenhouse. I lose the sun way to early in the year behind the trees.. Have to supplement lighting to make OD\greenhouse grows really worth it, without light dep anyway, so yeah! Mirrors!

Something like this simple and very cheap sun tracking tech could probably be rigged up to move the mirrors somehow for you (or me?):

it looks like you're doing some innovative stuff with mirrors to optimize that California sun! It won't kill you, but it can definitely enhance your plant's growth by reflecting more sunlight onto those precious buds. keep an eye on the positioning to avoid overheating or burning your plants

If I had some kind of large crystal orb, positioned on a tower where the most sunlight shines during the day (up at the top of the hill), I was thinking maybe I could run fiber optic cables all the way back down to the greenhouse. The idea hit me last night when thinking about automated sun tracking mirrors to help send light to other places. I looked it up, and sure enough its a thing! Fiber optic grow specific lights running to greenhouses or to underground bunkers, with special UV filtering lenses that protect the cables, etc. There are a few companies been doing R&D, and making it a reality. Only works during the day, but still cool and opens up all kinds of new possibilities to supplementing light in remote areas. I'm sure naysa is working with it too.. i'll have to look into it more. Cool concept!
