And your point? Possession of marijuana can be a felony, so before you start trying to imply that I'm somehow more of a criminal than any of you, take a look in the mirror. Should pot smokers all be barred from voting?
I didn't mean it like your a criminal, this is a big reason I rais hell about weed being treated like crack.
I wasn't bashing on ya man.:peace:

Sorry if I misunderstood you. I'm sure you can see how this is a tender issue for me.

Auto companies cannot do that. They cannot stop other countries companies from doing anything. The only way they can is if the government is willing to do it for them. It is not private companies that we need fear...it is always the government.

The government is willing to give unfair advantages to companies in exchange for a variety of things. It has happened repeatedly. Government intervention in capitalism is what's giving capitalism a bad name.
Dude the auto industry has already done this:

AFS Trinity Power Corporation today announced it pulled its 150 MPG plug-in hybrid SUV prototypes out of the LA Auto Show but will independently exhibit and demonstrate the super fuel-efficient vehicles on their own elsewhere in downtown LA during the show.

The company's decision followed actions by the LA Auto Show to muzzle AFS Trinity from highlighting the 150 miles per gallon fuel economy of its XH150 prototype vehicles. The suppression by the automakers of information about technologies such as this raises serious questions about the judgment, vision, intentions and capabilities of the leadership of these companies, said Edward W. Furia, Chairman and CEO of AFS Trinity. Such conduct by the automakers, who are currently seeking tens of billions of taxpayer dollars, ostensibly to develop fuel efficient vehicle technologies, is evidence they are reluctant to embrace solutions they didn't invent.

Hell even look at weed! Why do you think this is still illegal?

Big business does this all the time, and we continue to drone on about Capitalism and its ability to bring better competition and lower prices without government control, when this has not been the case in some very important ways in the past. All in the name of their profits.

It doesn't matter if they use the government to do it for them, or they do it themselves. It happens.

As far as I am concerned Moore can eat a fat one... As far as Capitalism that is not the problem corruption is, put the blame where it is need not where you want it.

No it does matter.

They do not control enough to do it on their own. They ALWAYS need the government to help if they are to circumvent capitalism.

I disagree, I think all it takes is for them to have government look away to do it. If government was not there, it would still do it, it would just be a lot easier.

Don't get caught in the rain
Ohh yeah I would b a felon as well if I hadn't't have had the money to make it a misdemeanor.

I don't wanna lose my right to own a weapon (that even includes a nailgun).

I dont have my guns at my place where I grow, my dad hangs on to them for me, but I have a few nice old ones in my collection and Id hate not to be able to have them, we are talking older rifles not assault weapons.

Not a drug charge but I had some prob with a bank and lets say my charges we almost as bad as if I had robbed them.
Wasn't even close to what happened, so yeah the system makes you really raw.

That's the only thing I've ever been in trouble for LOL

Moore is a capitalist who makes money off of fleecing the left by feeding into their paranoia.

When I said he's giving the movie away for free then...I didn't actually believe that he was...he is Ann Coulter with a vastly inferior résumé/education.
Ann Coulter....educated! HA! Her debate arsenal entails calling her enemies faggots and converting them all to Christianity. She's the worst of the sensationalists. Well, maybe Limbaugh - this guy has no college degree and is a convicted felon. The man can't even vote. The right follows a drug addict drop out. The left follows Obama. Both sides suck, but in a bind, I know who I''m picking.

Nobody is, really. They simply let their hospitals run on a deficit, since they aren't FOR PROFIT anyway.
Simple as that eh? No, its not...Econ 101: There is no such thing as a free lunch. If the hospitals are running a deficit, somebody is covering the cost...its that simple.

Since an MRI is affordable in Japan, patients have more of them than we do here.
Thats not true, there are more MRIs in The US than anywhere else in the world. Unless you meant, MRI procedures...which may or may not be true...I don't really know.
There are somewhere in the range of 127 million people in Japan.
If everyone gets 1 MRI each year and pays $100 for it, how much money is that?
About 12 billion dollars. Certainly nothing to sneeze at. Enough to buy about 6,000 NEW MRI machines, every year.
Ummm, hello? Not every single man, woman, and child get an MRI every year, not even fuckin close. The fact is, that most MRI systems in Japan don't even break even, let alone make any profit. SOMEONE IS COVERING THE COST.......WHO COULD IT BE???????

Lucky you! I didn't have the money, and ended up with a public pretender who convinced me it was better to plead guilty to the felony and "only" have to serve probation than it was to try the charge (which was actually several misdemeanors that they lumped together to make a felony) as separate misdemeanors (because I would have been facing 1 year for each charge instead of JUST 1 year for one felony).

And it was also bank-related. Bounced checks that added up to $201 (over $200 is a felony here). No matter that they were all paid within a week of being written, including the bounced check fees and overdraft charges.

It's maddening that at the same time I was going to court, a man nearby left his 8 year old daughter in a hot car for 10 hours - killing her - and was charged with a misdemeanor and sentenced to 25 hours community service.

Justice? Hardly.

So I have a question to anyone that is opposed to the health care reform bill.

Do you think that the people with no insurance now, not use the hospitals? Or is it that you don't think that it costs us anything?

Because what I really don't get is why you think it is going to be so drastically different money wise than it is now.

And also instead of the way it is now, the incentives on saving costs being put onto the companies dumping people when they get really ill, which really doesn't stop the costs right? Why not put the incentives on people to become more healthy to save the system more money?
