What a difference in opinion. I'm suprised to see all the conservative talk on a marijuana forum. Every thread I see is a McCain supporter.

I support America, and my family. McCain could take a hike for all I care, if only the D's had chosen more wisely. Since they couldn't possibly, I choose AmeriCa.

But, to rest your decision on the hopes of decriminalization; now that is a fruitless endeavor, fo' sho'.

McCain is an old fool. Just because he doesn't believe something doesn't mean it isn't true.

Theres a woman that a friend of mine knows. Her doctor gave her 2 years to live, she has cancer. She stopped using the doctor prescribed medications and started using marijuana only. That was 5 years ago. Disability actually cut her off for not dying. Now her and her catheter bag have to go to work everyday.

Not only are people being arrested for madical marijuana but they are being punished for not dying either. We can only hope that someday a member of McCains family is critically ill and needs medical marijuana, I'd love to be the hardass that get to tell him "nope, tell your family member to suck it up".

Disability. That's a government run operation, right?

I would believe so and since she didn't die, they penalized her and cut her off. Her doctor prescribed Medical marijuana for her, but this isn't a med state, it's a fuck off and die in pain state.

Well then. I'm glad that we got candidates talking about government run health care programs.

McLame wants to give people a $5000 dollar tax break for health insurance.

Obama wants to make sure that insurance is available for everyone to purchase. If your employer doesn't offer it you will be able to purchase off of the same health plan that government employees use.

It doesn't matter either way, health care is a for profit business even with insurance there are still people that can't afford to go to the doctor.

I have seen the benefit of MMJ first hand, friends that I have since lost. This kind of talk is what turns me off to the so called "compassionate" republicans.

I wonder if his health plan will allow us "commoners" the same access to the medical facilities/physicians that he and his fellow senators have access to. After all; they're government employees, yes?

The federal govenment lives inside the pocket of big pharma. They don't want people being able to produce their own natural medicines. That takes money out of pharma's pockets and we all know shit rolls downhill leaving less bribery to find it's way to congressmen's pockets.

Why is everyone so confused about Obama and marijuana? He is an Illinois senator. I live in Illinois. We have some of the harshes marijuana penalties in the US. The penalty is about one step away from beheading in the town square. We can't even get medical marijuana passed here.

If you have pot in your car and it's paid for, they take your car away and sell it. If you own your home and they catch you they take your home, and sometimes your belongings inside it and sell them.

Obama has not made any move toward making the penalties harsher but he certainly hasn't made a move toward lessening them. He pretty much hasn't done anything other than campaign for president.

Please try to avoid spreading misinformation around. I would think since you are so obviously against Obama that you would at least get this pot thing right. damn........
