shit man those buds look great, I've never messed with auto's but these plants have convinced me that I should

question... the 3 fingered leaves ... are they a result of revegging or is that typical with autos? Normally I may be concerned that the buds could be lighter and stringy on a reveg ... but these definitely don't look that way
Hey....Remember I was telling you about that mental 1 finger leaf I saw somewhere on the plant at some point? I found it...hahaha

It's on this plant...

Oh man...what a nightmare that was last year. There's a few other dudes in here beside myself that were contributors to that thread and you arent kidding. It was a tough time. Haha...

That's a tough call on your auto. From the pictures, I would personally give it a few more weeks to see what she does.

I have an auto that looked similar to that a few weeks ago, and now it looks like this...

And I'm still giving it a week, then a re-eval, and prob another week after. Haha unless she shows me something that convinces me otherwise.

How do the trichomes look? Are their any grow journals for the strain that show some done buds at harvest?

The main harem is loving this weather! Suns not even out yet and they are in full on "lady boner" mode.

I know right! Hoping this year is much better than last.

Yeah my auto is not as far along as yours. I’ll give it a week or so then. But man are those outdoor plants looking good! What type of strain is the large plant to the right? I really like how it’s growing.

Doing a great job man!

Thanks! The one on the right is a BlueBerry fem from "Canuk Seeds". I love the shape of it also. Just 20 or so 4'-5' long branches reaching up. And the node spacing on it is insane. Super tight. Cant wait to see the flower structure. This is my first year growing that strain so it's been a learning experience

It's in a 10g smart pot with Roots Original soil. Im using the Bontanicare line for nutes. Its about 7.5 feet tall right now and is 3.5 months old. I topped once when she was about 2 months old, did a minor lollipop (bottom 5%), and have been defoliating inside growth weekly to make the middle of the plant as clear as possible for airflow. Its one of my favorite plants this year.

Depending on how she finishes, I think I will be doing 3 or 4 of them next season with much more aggressive training. Definitely a second topping, and I'd like to bend one over across 2 or 3 seperate pots and see what happens. Would be a great way to grow it if it's a late finisher. We will see!

Great thread.

Last two years we have lost half are crop to mold. This year we have been consistent with are preventative treatments. I’ve also been able to keep up with trimming to let air and light in.

So far lesson learned this year. Don’t smoke while separating males and females. Last week had to pull second City slicker plant. Luckily first was replaced early June.

Happy flowers all

Ps some pics of this year.

I talked to a seasoned pro who has been growing outdoors for 30 something years. I always try to extract as much as I can from people that know their shit. He convinced me to leave the sugar leaves on for the first time. I asked because the sugar leaves on this plant are COVERED in trichomes so I was exploring options.

Thought I'd pass on his view on the subject. Feels like hard won wisdom to me.

He said..."the smoke might be a little harsher, and they wont look like they should be in a magazine, but there will be WAY less trichomes stuck to the inside of your jar with those leaves wrapped around protecting the buds. And the dry will be slower, so the smell and the flavor will be protected and enhanced and will battle some of that harshness. And if someone doesnt want to smoke sugar leaves, tell them to peel them off before they grind it. Throw them in the keef pile..."

It's making insanely good sense to me. So I'm trying it! Haha

Satellite cindys are budding up along with the Tennessee kush. Hopefully the c99 in the lineage helps them finish faster, they seem a little behind. This particular pheno is getting a blueberry bubblegum aroma already20190817_183957-1.jpg
Hit them with fish hydrolysate, ful power, and yucca extract with a top dress of rabbit manure.

The first 1 of 2 Mephisto Double Grapes is coming down tonight. I thought I could get some purpling if I held out and got the temps down but it just wasnt in the cards. I'm gonna let this ones twin stew for another week and see where that takes us.

These must be autos right? What kind of yields are y'all getting from your autos? My plants appear to be stopping their stretch in the last week or so. No sign of flower yet but I should be seeing it soon. These plants this year are monsters compared to what I did last year.

Yes, those are autos. I dont have a ton of experience with autos, as this is the first season I've tried them, but I'm definitely going to continue doing them. So much fun having flowers done and drying in July. And August. And Sept. And Oct...Hahaha

I have harvested 2 autos so far this season. I got about 2 ounces off each. Not a ton of weight but they are SUPER dense and VERY high quality. These double grapes are amazing. I'm guessing I will be around 2.5-3oz dry. But they are still hanging so tough to call at this point.

This has been a great year so far outdoors. I have also experienced freakishly large growth. All of my photos have totally flipped and are already stacking. My Pure Indicas are looking like they will finish around the 2nd week of September or earlier. The rest I'm guessing by the end of September.

If I could pull 1 to 2 pounds off on auto I probably look at them as I would be able to run 2 flowering cycles by the end of September. But I typically get 3 to 5 lb off my 9 week finishing regs.

Hey guys, Im from bristol county area and just noticed this thread. Been growing indoors about 8-9 years now and finally doing my first real outdoor grow this year. I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow if I remember. Im growing 6 plants in a raised bed I threw together real quick just to try it out. Trying to go all organic recycled soil/no till for now on so I figured it may take a few years to get it right but we'll see lol. Everybody here has such killer grows I love it
