Low Odour Strains....

Some smell more then others. I have heard of a strain that smells like dryer sheets (I *think* the strain was named something like citral or citrus. Something like that.)
But another thing to consider is that smell and tastes are closely linked.
No/little smell typically means no/little taste.
Also 1 or 2 plants isn't as pungent as a dozen. (and easier to cover up)
House ventilation will come into play also. A central return vs a return in each room will keep the smell closer to one room over spreading out over the path to the central return. (sentence wasn't diagrammed well, but point should be there)
A little forethought/planing can go a long way. The OP is on the forethought stage.
(I also noticed some posts about "no smell? you gotta be kidding." If you *read* the title, he asked about *low* oder, not oder free.)

I've also had weed that tasted and smelled like dryer sheets, but that was because it was shipped through the mail in dryer sheets..

The BigBudxNL seems like a good candidate so far. the house I am in doesnt have central heat/air and right now I dont have any money or tools to actually start a professional setup. Like Balls said, I am looking for lower odor strains, I understand that weed smell dank, I just know there are some strains that arent going to make the whole house wreak. How is the smoke with the BBxBL? I dont have the money to set up a real SOG grow that is why I am looking for a high yeilder to grow from seed. Gonna try to grow an auto cycle/reg/auto/reg like that because I can start vegging my reg plants towards the end of my auto cycle, that is until I can actually setup for SOG.
Yeah right, this is coming from the guy who thinks dolomite lime is a fruit, LOL

I grow NL form marijauna NL, the sight with the girl and all the green, you'd know it, and it smells a ton. I have a 6 inch chrarcoal filter and a 6 inch inline fan and it has not been enough lately. I am pushing through the filter, gotta change that, but i hae had to plug in a little 4 inch filter too when working woth the gilrs to lst. They are only a few weeks old! tHt NL bigbud looks awesome. I have also heard that papaya has low odor.

my grow only smells slightly like pine. some friends walked into our house yesterday and commented on it. i just said we cleaned the place
you can get a more pungent strain, but just make sure it doesnt smell like the typical skunk weed where everyone knows its marijuana. get a fruity or piny smelling one and have good ventilation, so even if the smell escapes a little, its acting as an air freshener

First of all, that only proves that you already have an odour security issue.. Secondly I doubt you're prepared for the morning you wake up to find that odour profile has flipped to something your grandmother would recognize from your front door..

harvested yesterday, and no one, including me, thought it smelled like weed. there are strains that dont smell like "pot"

Is it pot? If it is, then by definition, whatever it smells like, smells like pot.. I know there are alot of odour varieties, but so do alot of other ppl.. Besides, alot of innocent/naive ppl tend to be too curious and persistent for their own good.. I'm glad you harvested already, but if thats your attitude then I'll miss you when you're gone..

Not sure of strains but i noticed the hotter the area got the more it stunk. humidity the same thing.

I completely disagree with this ! I have grown afghan kush which stank my house up even wih a c filter however i have grown Northen lights which doesnt smell at all during flower !!!!!!

i was gonna say the same thing.. Northern Lights and Blue Mystic both are low odor strains.. this threads 3-4 years old tho... lol. but i run an ionizer.. and that takes away the smell almost completely.. its an air purifier.. and has a switch to turn the ionizer on.. i have it blowin right on my plants.. and i even grow skunks.. and theres is almost no smell.. u can walk right in my room.. and not even kno theres weed growin in there.. at night tho.. wen the ionizer isnt running.. you can start to smell it. does a great job. any1 worried about smell should look into buying one.
