I use tinted (purple) Mason jars and I vacuum seal them and keep them in a cool, dark place. But one problem I always had, was that many of the trichomes would smear all over the interior of the glass. Maybe I'm a bit OCD about preserving every last little bit of goodness, but it took a lot of effort and attention to grow it and dry it and cure it, so why not store it with the same attention to detail, right? So all you have to do is cut a circle of parchment paper to cover the bottom of the jar and then cut another piece, form it into a cylindrical shape and slide it into the jar so that the sides are covered. Then pack the jar as you normally would. It works like a charm and all trichomes are preserved! No more smearing!
