I think the best European grow light award would have to go to Spectro Light
http://spectro-light.com/#oswietlacze
Hybridway would probably agree as he likes some good old ''spectrum blending", They are also waterproof which is a plus.

Budmaster is good but way overpriced.
Please ,allow me to have a way different opinion from yours,
about which european LED grow light ,should be nominated with
the "Best" award .

I guess that some of my designs have been an inspiration for quite a few LED grow light manufacturers outta there ...

One of the things that is so confusing to me is how much cob light is really needed? I don't understand much about umols and all that. I have mental health problems and find that scientific light talk is a but heavy for my lite head. lol

So in a 3ft x 3ft area / 36 inches x 36 inches...

How much light is too much light? How much light is ok for auto's on 20-4, also how much light for photoperiod plants on 12/12.

I'll tell you what my problem is. I have found recently that I have been growing too much weed. By that I mean like a whole village + my friends are still smoking my last batch from 2 months ago. lol I also grew over 20 ounces for free for a friend with stage 4 breast cancer. I have grown her another 16-20 ounces since December for her already. She has 12 ounces left from last batch + this lot. I'm going to keep all that for her. It just means I can chill now and just keep making her cannabis oil.

Another problem is I just can't be bothered with this full time growing anymore, there is so much more to life than money and it's really taking it's toll on my health! I don't want to spend any more time obsessively making money! I have a perfect family, a nice house with low mortgage, a flat, money, sports car, vw campervan, a canary and a puppy. My life is now exactly where I want it! I've been working towards this for years, but now I have everything I want, I need to keep it. It's been expensive getting to where I am, but now I want to retire young! lol

A major problem for me is this. I rented a flat to grow in, I pay £2500 /3115.89 usd over my budget in rent. Also my electricity last year was around £3800/ 4736.15 usd , which is fucking brutal! So to live somewhere big enough to grow all this weed I don't need, is costing me a pretty penny to say the least! If I move to a cheaper flat / apartment + switch to cobs and 3ft tents, I'll still be rolling out plenty of weed. Like £2000 a month, I'll also be able to get rid of it all, plus I really enjoy growing in 3ft tents. I can reach everything, so I keep them so healthy. Everyday I can life all the pots and still treat the plants as individuals.

I used to grow in wardrobes under blurple leds. I grew plenty of weed then. I just got silly somewhere along the line with compulsive behaviour + desire to be successful for my family.

I cannot commit to the stress of the high electric bills + expensive rent anymore. It's becoming a real burden on my life. Serious unwanted baggage!

I have a 2.5ft mother tent with T5 96w

I want one 3ft x 3ft tent for my Blimburn Cindy and Brothers Grimm Cinderella'99 plants for personal.

One 3ft x 3ft tent with 4 auto's days 0-30.cWith enough light.

One 3ft x 3ft tent with 4 auto's days 31-60. With more light

That means I could harvest an absolute minimum of 8-10 ounces / zips easily every 30 days, just from the auto's.

That may give people a real in depth insight of to why I would spend a lot of money switching to cobs.

It's the noise of the fans at night too. They must be quiet. I have been screaming out stress through the pillows! Literally the fan noise cooling hid or cmh is just fucking with my. It's so bad that when I turn off all the noise I lose my balance and feel strange, like I've just stepped of a small boat and the land still feels like it's moving.

^^^^^the spectro-light is a good call, citis+ 660/730nm supp. should deliver

for prebuilt fixtures in the EU hortiled from Holland(hortilux schreder) should get a look as well, finally released

http://www.pllight.com/products/fixtures/hortiled-top/

2.7 umol/j is excellent(dimmed #?), that passive heatsink for 320w draw seems underspecd for certain ambient temps imo......hard to tell from pics though.

good luck
How the hell do they get a system efficacy of 2.7 μmol/J, do you know what they are using ?

I saw a post by you a while back somewhere regarding this light. It had a YouTube design video and something about dealing with in rush current. What Veros are being used, sorry most of the page seems to be Greek.

Shit man sounds rough , hopefully things get better for you and yeah I know electricity can cost a lot in the UK so COBs should be good.

Sounds good though :P

With new s6 bin in newest boards 2.7 can be a reality in WHITE LIGHT

HLG 550 will be ~2.5 which isn't to shabby for a 550-600 watt prebuilt fixture just over 1000 bucks shipped.
not to shabby at all....................at least you aren't calling the s6 QB's the "cob killer" yet ;), classy

what K's available for the new bin?

I'm sure you have already thought of this and there is probably a few good design and cost reasons why it's not viable, but how ultimate would it be if you made QB with some new 4t bin Osram ssl660's on a different circuit to the Samsung chips. So a separate driver (maybe like the lpc or something) can be used for them as a flower initiator.

We may have something in the works but it had been brought to our attention that there are those that are trying to flat out copy our design on the QBs. So we may not be able to share until release time from now on. Unfortunate really but I guess if you don't really understand LED tech and you want to make a quick buck that's the route you take I suppose.......Our QBs haven't been available for more than. 3 months and already people trying to 100% rip off the design.......Sad honestly.

You sound like Apple,lol................that design/chip family isn't anything new, shares similarities with others that came before QB's. Your metal core pcb is very good, so is nextlight.
