dude i hope lebron pulls the win tonight

how fucking stupid would we ALL look, if its Denver & Orlando and no "best player" on the floor.

having said that, PJ said if he could pick any one player to build a team around he picked D Howard....

The only problem with D. Howard is his attitude because I know that he will pick up that 7th technical the next game in Cleveland the man can't control himself at home I understand emotion but if they can throw the same type of Tech. at JR Smith at home they can hand it to Howard...It'd be incredible if the Cavs can pull out the next 3 and win the series it'd be nice to see a new team make that history list to be one of the eight or would be-nine teams to come off a 3-1 to advance...all i know is that I never thought that "Skip To My Lou" the man I had been watching and somewhat idolizing while i was working on my basketball career; that was put to second after college football, would soon become a man named Rafeer Alston? And not only that but lead his team to possibly a championship? Say what? Lol. He is a drastically underrated player, he's always had handles obv from his And1 days but the man's shot and presence on the court can't be imitated. He brings a diff. energy when he comes in and he always has that smile on no matter what haha...

Tonights game proves that Kobe is the better player.

Kobe would NEVER EVER turn the ball over 6 times in crunch time

to say never is a lean cuz he did back when...and you say that but lebron scored 40+ tonight and nearly had a triple double i think he was 2-3 assists away and Kobe just lost as well to denver and only put up 29 i believe it was in his last game leading me to question where is this black mamba everyone is speaking of?

Tonight didn't prove anything. Lebron played alright. a few big free throws, another huge 3, another 40 odd points. Thats better than the way kobe played last night and 3/4 last road games. Thats ridiculous you say that tonights game proved anything, wait till we see how the series go. Personally I think Lebron can break anyone of Kobes records If he stays healthy. Only time will tell. untill then:joint:

Thing is lebron has already broken many records that Kobe will never get to at this point the only record Kobe has over Lebron I believe is most 3's in a game which is 12 and I'm sure it won't be broken by lebron...JR Smith almost broke it this season with 11 though...

Well, it doesnt look like we're gonna get to see them play this year, unless cleveland can pull a miracle out of their ass. I just hope the lakers make it.

By the looks of that last game bro, it looks like LA's gonna have a fun time sitting on the sidelines watching Carmelo trynna win a Championship...

no way denver wins 2 out of 3
LA is gonna smack them down tonight (finally) and then put the to bed game 6.

KOBE IS NOT GOING TO PASS THE BALL TO DELONTE WEST (err.. insert any other laker here) WITH PRECIOUS TICKS REMAINING

Well for starters, the Lakers lost because NO ONE except Kobe and Pau showed up to play.

The Cavs lost BECAUSE OF Lebron. He had a chance to end the game, and ended up throwing the ball out of bounds several times (resulting in 6 turnovers). He then drove to the basket, tripped over his own feet, and was lucky enough to be bailed out by the refs for the tying free throw. Any great player WILL NOT choke that bad in crunch time. I have never seen any of the all time greats throw the ball out of bounds for six turnovers in crunch time!

Sure, his stats look good, but if you watched the entire game, you would see that his performance was quite pathetic, despite the inflated numbers.

Um 81pts? 62pts in three quarters against Dallas? Let's see LeBron do that.

How about the times Kobe took a team of garbage (Smush Parker, Kwame Brown, Brian Cook, Chris Mihm, etc.) to the playoffs, and nearly upset the contender Phoenix Suns? LeBron was never able to do that either...

Kobe is a phenomenal player..... we can all admit that....... he is basically un-stoppable..... Lebron is phenomenal too.... he has time to get better...... if he works as hard as Kobe..... he will be right up there with all the greats....... Lebron has to do some phenomenal shit in order to come close to Kobe's heels..... he cannot carry a team yet....... which means Kobe is a better player right now........ it takes a team to win a championship...... the Lakers are NOT getting past Denver and the Cavs are NOT getting past Orlando. Orlando wins it all this year because they have a physical inside presence.

see thats when Kobe will tell his team to "fuck off give me the rock" and drop 81 rather than keep passing it to them.
as clearly evidenced by all 3 of the cavaliers' current losses coming when james scores over 40 points.

what you say doesnt really matter, when its proven wrong before you even said it.

Still not Kobe's record, Wilt Chamberlain scored 100 in a single game, I'm just saying Lebron has broken more of the records that Kobe used to hold at one point or another and broken others that Kobe will never get the chance too...And you want to say a team of garbage but then again people are calling this current roster trash and called the last finals-reaching roster trash I think the best from that list was larry hughes who let's admit not that good he could jus pass the rock (to Lebron)...I mean there playing with wally sczerbiak right now? lol

And let me say that the last 2 games Paul Gausoft has not shown up...he's not crashing the boards like we all know he can and he is not scoring the way he should be I believe the last game he only had 4 points in the 2nd half...Games are won and lost over 2nd possesion and Denver has for the most part been stepping up when it comes to this and is def bringing a better transition game when they play strong...The numbers say we wont see a Lebron-Kobe matchup but its the playoffs you don't know what can happen and if D. Howard gets another Tech. he's suspended for a game, if Melo doesn't show up Lakers go up...Jus gotta wait it out...

AND THE LAKERS ARE 2-0 VS DENVER WHEN KOBE SCORES 40...

Kobe is surrounded by a team though? A team that obv. can't play in the paint lamar and gasol both stated that pre-game that there is no post play and as long as nothing comes down low the game won't change for them...All I'm seein is Gasol try and more jumpshots from 10+ still...

no play in the paint=no win for LA

gotta have some inside game
defensively & offensively, control the paint and control the game
