It's no secret that Lebron since the beginning has been a shining player since he was picked up out of high school. NBA analysts have said it time and time again that Lebron has had the best influence onto his team since the beginning of his career since Michael Jordan. Lebron has never rode the pine and Kobe came out of high school the same way Lebron has. LJ has started since day 1 with the Cavaliers and not only was he an astounding player since his 1st game but he turned the franchise around completely leading his OWN team to the playoffs his first 4 years into his career and his 5th season leading them even farther...and you want an interesting fact to go with this all as well: On February 27, 2008, against the Celtics, James became the youngest person to score 10,000 points in his career at 23 years and 59 days, he did so in 368 games, the ninth fastest in league history and Kobe isn't 1-8 on that list...

And Greyskull I do agree that Kobe is an elite player but so is LJ at a faster pace in his career than Kobe. And Kobe can only maintain his play as it is now because we all do have to remember that Kobe is aging, he's already 30 and already played his number of seasons...

Right, because LeBron is the only player on his team. It wasn't his teammates at all... I hate the LBJ homers. If they win a game, it was all due to LeBron, but when they lose it's always the teammates' fault.

For your information, when Kobe was drafted into the league, he wasn't expected to be a super star player, thus the reason why he rode "pine" on the bench. He was drafted with the 13th pick, meaning 12 teams felt that they could get a better player!

LeBron was drafted onto a team that was complete garbage. Of course he is going to have better numbers for his first few years. He was option #1, and controlled the ball for 80% of the game, much like now. Kobe was on a team with Shaq, and other great vets like Eddie Jones.

well the real debate begins when both are retired. until then....

what I am wondering, is IF both teams can make it to the Finals, if the losing team's STAR lovers will accept the defeat as a token of inferiority to the other player, or if they will opt out and claim a series is about a team collectively, not the indiviual....

LETS SEE WHO CAN SIT AT THE TABLE AND EAT CROW AT THE END OF THIS....

ahaha

even with the help from the refs, LeBrick still couldnt pull this one out

seriiously, 24 free throw attempts, on 28 shots, that means he was fouled 86% of the time... At least half of them weren't even fouls

I'm no cavs fan and I know if the Cavs lose its mostly going to because of Lebron but if you look at the picture now it's not Lebron if you've watched this game I believe the stats between Mo Williams and Delante West are 9/35 fg and 9 t/o between the both of them. That isn't 6th man play in any way. But it is true till the are both retired we will truly never know for sure so i'll wait another 10 years and hopefully they'll both be retired by them and green will be legal here in the US till then I'll continue on trying to find new ways to build a new piece to smoke out of.

But damn those Magic dancers are sexy whoooo...

see thats when Kobe will tell his team to "fuck off give me the rock" and drop 81 rather than keep passing it to them. not for the faint of heart.

agian, the good old "none since shaq left" talk.
Hey dude weren't the Lake Show in the Finals last year, competing for it?
aren't they marching their way there, again?
WTF are you gonna say when Kobe wins this year?
"oh its because of Pau" or
"oh its because of Lamar"
what?

I think this years out come will really tell us something. If lebron can win it, he will take the thronekiss-ass... If kobe wins, he is that much closer to passing jordan and can be considered the best player for a few more years. Only time will tell

kobe is garbage compared to lebron in pretty much every aspect. i think any true NBA fan will say the same.

Them's fightin' words beotch! lol Kobe Bryant all the way. First off, he's got 3 rings. How many does Lebron have? Oh wait.....NONE! Not that rings are how to measure greatness (after all, Shaq's got 4 of em -lol), but down the stretch, when the game is on the line, Kobe's proven he's a clutch performer. Also, Kobe Bryant doesn't just play offense, he plays DEFENSE too. In that respect he's the most similar player to Michael Jordan I can think of. Lebron is getting there, and may very well surpass all the points records of previous players, (helped in part by him skipping college to enter the pros) but at the moment, he's still just a rising star. Until he's got more than one ring, he's just another Barkley or Iverson.
