So today i woke up and got outa bed and open my closet to water and turned m fan off. I shake all my plant to get all the dust or whatever might be on it. So i did this and about 2 nats flew off. I saw them flying around n killed them..

Im thinking these mutha f****** are destroying my baby plants slowly but sure.

My shits have grey dentures in the sumleaves, On all my little ones the leaves are starting to turn yellow going bottom to top.

I dont get how i am getting nats i live in virginia and its about 35 degrees out here with no nats, only reason i can think of them getting in is when my fam takes my dog out but we shut the door, or the soil.

Is there anything i can to kill these gnats and there larva. I havent seen any larva but im not trying to so i want to get this situated.

anyhelp would do me good.

toke it up

Make sure PH is around 6.8.. not sure what kinda soil youre using but i suggest Fox Farm Ocean Forest.. During Veg they shouldnt need any nutes for the first about 3 weeks.. then you should start feeding them some Fox Farm Grow Big, and Big Bloom! (Big Bloom is basically earthworm and bat shit, and its all organic!).. anywho, if you buy these things, there is a Fox Farm feeding schedule online you can print that tells you exactly how much of the nutes to give them and when you should do it.. week by week it breaks it down for you to keep you on track! I highly suggest it, its what i'm doing and is working like a charm! i'm ready to harvest my White Widow and my Northern Lights in Roughly 2-3 weeks! :]

Good Luck My friend hope i've helped a bit!

Im going with a PH problem.

The gnats were probably in the soil when you bought it. They aren't doing anything to your plants. Just let your soil dry between waters, and gnats will never be a problem...plus you will be watering the proper way too. Let the top two inches get dry...no gnat infestation.

Well it clearly looks like there eating certain parts of the leafs on all my plants its grey spots , some spots will be in the middle of the leaf sum will be on the very tip, they usualy get real dry and wen touched it crumbles. also my leafs are slowly turning yellow bottom to top.

I have one older plant thats doing great. im using/doing the same shit with the little ones as i did withthe big one example.
same soil
same temp/humity
same air vent
and shit was good.

diff is soil is like 4 months old/ i use no nutes (not really trying to)

or i resenly switched to tap water than bottold watter. but i let it sit 72 hr before use.

im going to put up recent photos

you might think about starting nutes. they are looking hungry.
do you think thats y they are slowly turning yellow bottom to top.

end of sum leaf tips are crispy this is happning to 3 outa 5 plants.

the soil is about 4 months old.

If you think i should use nutes whats good and cheap and easy to find?

check the bottom of the leaves with a magnification lense cause it could be spider mites or some other micro pest that causes that spotting

i wish there was a better picture. In one of the pictures it looks like you have mites (lots of little yellow spots). BUT i don't think you have mites. If you did, you would seem the mites and the webs under the leaves.

I think it is your soil. I think the PH is off and the roots might not be getting enough oxygen. If they were my plants, I would transplant them into new containers using a soil that has lots or perlite. AND you must check your PH of your water. If the PH is not correct, the pants can not absorb nutrients.

na its not mites i see nothing and no webs.

I actualy just transplanted them into 2 gallon jugs. I have whole on the bottom for drainage.

Is there a chance it could be my soil is just old and used up all its furtilizer? so it needs more?
