get some alaska fish fert. To me it looks like it's a nuted soil running out. also looks like a little nute burn most likely from a nuted soil and over watering. also add some cal/mag or epsons salts and garden lime. I'm no expert. That just what I would do. also what GK was talking about.

i think im going to go to petco and buy a ph test kit and test the water i use and the run off.

if its between 6.5-7 than thats clearly not the problem correct?

So then it would maybe be a soil/nuitrients problem?

maybe make more holes at bottom of pot for more oxygen?

dude its been four months get some ferts if your on a budget get some jacks classic all purpose its 20-20-20 and will take care of about any deficiency your having at the moment , and get rid of those gnats they may not be causing the whole problem but they are not helping you.

dude lol im trying to get the nats. i dont know where there coming from. i dont have a dirty house at all, i live in a cold climate and theres non outside so im confused. ugh.

cover the soil with some fine white sand it suffocates the larvae but other than that you will need some sort of product and circulating air that is strong enough to blow them around will help prevent them from landing and laying more eggs.

The gnats like to lay eggs up to about 2 inches of soil. IF you properly let your soil fully dry, then the gnat eggs will not survive. Shake your pot sometime, you will see the gnats come burrowing out of the soil. Believe me, that's where they came from, because they do not travel more then 8 ft. You can get Gnat-GO at any local hydroponic store. You just mix a little in some water in a spray bottle and spray the top of your soil every so often.

As far as the yellowing. IF the yellowing is occurring from the bottom to top. IF the leaves go yellow, then brown, and shrivel up. You have a nitrogen deficiency. Your plant is about to produce buds. If you keep more of the big fan leaves alive, the better bud production you will have. You definitely have a nitrogen deficiency, and Im going to guess a phosphorus, potash, phosphate, magnesium, and calcium deficient as well. As far as the PH of your water. This is the most important part of growing ANYTHING! City water can vary from 4.8 to 8.4. I have seen that big of variance. Buy yourself a PH tester off ebay for 30$ and you will never, ever have plant issues again. Guaranteed. If you have any issue it will be very easy to diagnose and very easy to correct. Believe me, it will be the best 30 bucks you will ever spend.

If i have all those problems whats the easiest way to fix this?

im not flowering yet its a girl but its still in veg wat nutrients do you reccomend thats cheap and easy to find? i do have a local hyroponic store....

since your in veg get something higher in nitrogen than phosphorus but that still has good potassium levels like a 12-4-8. you said you have a hydro store close so just go there and ask them if they have something that will work well in soil also, i think the organic hydro nutes would probally do better in soil but im not sure so ask. might as well pick up some bloom nutes while your there why make two trips right?

i have holes inthe bottom for drainage, and i tranplanted in 2 gallon jugs.

yea i was water every 2 days they are hungry little fukers but i started to see nats all the suddon. I heard if i let them dry out all the way instead of damp, they will go away eventualy, hope so atleast.

New pics that you can actually see. Please let me know what you think this problem could be. temps are 74 humity is good. soil is 4 months old, use 150w hps. all my plants are still in veg..... I have a local hydroponic store around also. +rep. i dont want this to kill my whole crop, anyways

That's definitely nitrogen deficiency. Your plant is telling you it is ready for flowering. What is happening is the plant is low on nitrogen and it is leeching its own nutrients. The plant is taking the nutes from those big fan leaves. The more fan leaves the healthier the plant will be. Some Nitrogen rich fertilizer will do wonders, like SVchop said.

The leaf will wither, dry and crumble. Just let it die until you can easily pull it off. If you add nitrogen now, you will prevent the nitrogen deficiency from moving up the plant. If you do not correct it, the plant will move to the next set of fan leaves and leech that leaf too. GL. Soon you will be a pro.

Another thing...

Those gnats aren't doing anything to your plant. The larvae may eat at the hairs on your roots which is the worst they can do, and since your plants are past the seedling stage, unless you get an infestation, they are harmless. They do not eat leaves.

If you leave your soil to dry out completely you will not have a gnat problem, you may get 2 or 3 but not the crazy amounts if you leave your soil to damp. The larvae eat fungus, and fungus forms on wet, decaying crap in your organic soil. SO if you let your soil dry out, the larvae will have no fungus to feed on =) GL again.
