Leaf tips curling up and dying-pics

the only time i would ever ph water before adding anything to it would be if it was from a well or something.. in which case i would check the ph and the ppm.. and see if its even worth using.. if the ph was way way off or the ppm was high i would just suck it down and get some RO water from the store.. but thats a rare case to have to do that...

Definitely not bugs. I've looked hard and that's definitely not the case.

I'm not sayen this is the problem just throwing this out there

I grow all FF
soil
nutes
I was in the 4 th week of flowering and hadn't used cal mag plus yet

used it 1tsp per gallon per plant

a lot of my healthy fan leaves started curling like yours

I'm not sayen the cal caused this
I still don't know
I just flushed all if mine and left it at that

just throwing hhis out there

I use r/o water from the store. Mine is really bad. Like 500-600ppm and 8.5 pH.

So why did you start using cal-mag? Are you using r/o water?

damn... thats almost as bad as mine..

i run hydro.. so water ppm and ph mean everything to me.. i have a filter right now that cuts my ppm down to like 100 to 200... but i am going to end up getting a reverse osmosis water filter myself in the next couple grows to get it down, to hopefully, 0 ppm

I was reading subcools super soil thread and it said that the plant needs to be absorbing calcium to help absorb the high potassium/ phosporous nutes used later in flowering .

Yes I was but I recently switched to rain water cuz it just rained here

So you didn't have a mag deficiency or anything? I think I need to dial up the nutes for sure. I am definitely stopping cal-mag for now since it isn't really helping me at this point. I am however gonna give them a couple of days to see what happens with the epsom salt treatment. I appreciate everyone's feedback. I figure I need to go slow here and not overreact because they look fairly healthy except for the jacked up leaves.

nah no mag def.

During veg I never Introduced any nutes tho

And with straight reverse osmosis water you didn't experience and mag problems? Interesting. I wonder why the hell mine are acting like this. I think transplanting is sounding like it might be in order. Do you use the solubles during flowering?

you dont need to check the ppm of the water when growing in soil.

LUDA.
I don't mess with ppm although I have a nice tds meter. I plan on trying hydro here soon. My tapwater is complete crap and we don't drink it. I need to get my own r/o filter before I make the venture into hydroland. LOL!

I would alternate using r/0 and rain water

I have horrible chlorinated tap water here

I can't beleive they pump this shit out of our faucets
