I'm am sure all computer machines have paper backup. The hysteria that surrounds this election is bad enough without a bunch of liars crying voter fraud.

Thats the problem with America. We only have a 2 party system. Thats sucks.....

Where the heck have you been the last few years? These machines, or MANY of them, have NO paper trail, and have demonstrable flaws, ie, are way, way easy to hack into.

Just few links for you to peruse. You are wrong; many of us are voting on machines that have NO paper trails. Would you make a withdrawal from an ATM machine if there were no paper trail available to you? Would you?

The above site is owned by Bev Harris, who is the woman who exposed a LOT of this corruption, to the point that HBO made a documentary out of her research. And she found a lot of stuff wrong. I think, if memory serves me correctly, that even she was able to hack into the software being used by diebold machines.

Note on above link: YES, it's from that liberal think tank COMMON DREAMS, but notice also they provide their source; this one is from a paper in Cleveland, Ohio; and it was in Ohio in '04 that the irregularities showed up (again). Oh wait that happened also in '06.


And then there is this, from Wired Mag, a very, very good quality magazine. If you've never checked them out, do so. Even if it's not about political stuff. This magazine is awesome; you'll find loads of interesting and very well researched articles, all written in plain old English that we can all digest.

The flaw is in Premier's Global Election Management System (GEMS), which is used in at least 31 states. GEMS software sits on a computer system at a county's election headquarters and is used to tabulate votes cast on both touchscreen voting machines and optical-scan machines. Premier said the flaw was in versions 1.20.2 and earlier of the software, though other versions may be affected as well.



Check out the "see also" section at the end of this "blog." Yes, I'm aware that I said blogs are not reliable, but this Wired and they always back up their info.

If you think these machines are reliable, you've missed a whole lot in the news the last few years. Do you get your news primarily from television? If so, that explains why.

Secondly, REFUTE me if you are so sure that all these machines have paper trails. Come on. I double dog dare you. Why? 'Cause I know I'm right. From what I see in your posts, you're rather new to this issue, and I've been following it for years.

So come on, watch your ugly mouth and don't stoop to calling me a whore; and then, when you've gotten yourself under control and are able to carry on a decent conversation without resorting to such disgusting name calling, refute me. If' I'm wrong, I'll gladly admit it.
