lumens and spectrum-

are the most important thing in the equation. between 5500, 3400 kelvin mh, and regular ol hps bulbs, available at the electric supply store i get pretty good results. ive used them all.

bulbs can be the diff from a couple ozs to 6 or 7 ozs
Jonny likes a nice trial run so I will be upgrading my bulb to a 600w Eye Hortilux to see the difference...I'm also upgrading my ph meter to a hanna digital ec / ph / ppm meter for around $150. My total investment in starting my new grow is $70 for the seeds from Nirvana, $150 for the new hanna meter, $40 for dirt and perlite, and that is IT!

I'm really excited to grow this Aurora as it has good reviews online...I think for my next strain, I'm going to try something more upscale. Nirvana is cool but they don't have many strains in my opinion...but then again, they aren't charging $100 for 10 seeds like Sensi does.

I went with the feminized variety as I would like to use a Scrog net on this grow to maximize yield...I just hope none of these go hermi on me. A local friend had some clones available for $10 a piece but I kinda wanted to pick my own strain to grow so I opted for the seed bank route.
