Yeah I just did a couple of scoops in a few gallons and just top feed them. Helps to keep the top of the roots wet as well... imo ...that dont get wet in an ebb and flow hydro set up.
I can assure you it does, it works like a charm and moistens the medium better then watering from the top. Matter of fact i am growing ebb and flow right now with light-mix and it is very low of maintenance.

The capillarity of dirt is underestimated, it works just as good as rock-wool and coco in a hydro set up. But personally i don't ebb anymore, i just leave the water for the plants to drink.

So should I still put the 3pints in there and just see where it goes I have other auto flower seeds I can plant so if this one goes it won’t be a big deal but I want to make sure the same thing doesn’t happen to my other seeds. Thanks
I would do one at a time until there is some decent run off and stop. This will flush out the old water and give it food. Then do this every day (once a day) until the runoff is nutrients instead of water.

Do not feed based on ppms, feed based on what the company says on their feed charts for a starter/clone. Some nutrients are very potent, I use heavy 16 and if you base your feed by ppms the plants are overdosed. Their nutrients feed the plant perfectly without using high ppms, they warn against basing your feedings on ppms. Know your nutrients and call the rep if you have to.

Awesome! thank you again for all of the advice and help. If I were to start over would you recommend feeding nutes from the first week or just water and should I leave it in the 3 gal pot or start in a solo cup and transplant once the plant is bigger ?

I would go with the smaller pot and transplant, but most autoflower growers I see recommend against it, you will have to figure that out. Ask around in the autoflower section. I always start from clone, I would figure out what strength of feed you need for clones and do a little less than that, just to stop it from choking off with straight water.

Did you give this seed, thats having the issue, water the first feeding? If it was the start of your issues I wouldn't feed water the first week.

It might be best to go with soil as a medium if you restart, coco can be difficult for new growers and autos are on the run from the start, they don't give you a chance to fix your mistakes without losing yield.

I disagree
Feed charts dont take into account for sick plants.

And Im reading your post again
Do not feed based on ppms,
Some nutrients are very potent..............

150 -200 ppms is 150-200 ppms

feed charts are for the strongest healthiest plants in a perfect growing environment
I dont use a feed chart unless I want to guess how much im cutting that in half or something.

I get what your saying about heavey 16, mega crop is the same way. With mega crop if you want to kill your plants go by the feed chart.

Just going from my experience, broscience* unfortunately, I stay on flat 10ml/gal of base and they stay fed from small size to end bud. Larger plants I go by the bottle. Their online calculator says don't go over 10ml and drop it at the end of bud, where as the bottle says you can go up to 15, so that's kind of conflicting.

I see great growth and I don't think the ppms are over 900 even with the 15ml/gal feeding. 150ppms is probably what hes looking for with this sick plant. 600ppm is what most veg plants eat, would probably kill it at this point, especially being an auto.

Yes feed water for the first 10-11 days of its life only watering when dry. Any good soils you recommend?

Wow those look great already what’s the whole set up your using
I got the seeds from seedsman and true north seed bank cheese and white widow. Soil is a mix of perlite Happy Frog and Coco Canna. And they're under hlg 650s. I will eventually use General Hydroponics nutrients but I'm not quite there yet
