Hypothetically-- the NSA or some government-type agency now has a copy of this post.. And hypothetically, If I were you, i'd delete the post.. hypothetically~
This is very important for everyone to remember. Once you hit post/send they've got it. There is no deletion anymore. All they have to do is setup the right filters.

My belief is as follows.

Scenario - You walk in on a pervert that was sodomizing your 7 year old son/daughter. If you allow that person to leave your house with breath still in it's body, you never deserved to have your children in the first place and deserve the same penalty as the pervert.

That's how me and my family roll and damn proud of it.

Peace until peace don't work

You are mixing things up here. Self-defense/defense of other is not the same as reporting of a crime. Which is what the son did.

Finding someone in the act of injuring someone else places you in the shoes of the victim if you react violently. You are usually allowed to use as much violence as necessary to end the attack and not anymore. Think about THAT when your adrenalin is through the roof. You sort of understand how cops can deal the beat down.

If the act could have ended in death then you may have a justifiable killing.

Now having a kid walk in and tell you something even with corroborating evidence you have time and sufficient evidence to call the enforcers. They don't like when you deprive them of a pedo beat down, REALLY they don't. It's much easier for them too since they have the necessary procedures in place to allow them to do the job they were set up for. It's far more efficient when they do it as well.

Otherwise if you do their, very union, job your case ends up in the DA's office on Monday in a staffing conference while they discuss your state of mind just prior. There will be arguments for a pre-meditated rap and that is often how they are filed, without enhancement to save money and a clever ploy to keep you from getting an out of the PD office defender. The DA's stand an even chance with the PD's (they are the same peeps in a way). Then they plead you to murder 2 or if they really feel for you voluntary.

Conversely the cop goes to a shooting board, gets a couple days off with pay and goes back to work.

So there are a couple morals to this.... First call the cops and let them put it on their conscience so you don't carry that scene forever. Let the cops dream about it not you.

The next one is if you are EVER in the criminal justice system NEVER go with a PD (unless you happen to have your own JD). Always hire the big guns. Oh and for a murder rap you are facing an easy 100g for the heavy hitters in LA.

Yeah call the cops.

there is something completely different than catching someone hurting another human being and not being able to wait for the police IE: if I seen someone attacking an old lady youre sure as hell ima jump in, if in near my yard ima come running with anything I can to hit the man/woman hurting another. if some old lady knocks on my door and says shes just got beaten im going to call 911.

Emotional question for some of us who witnesses such violence and its consequences . May she rest in peace , my mother was involved long ago with a fucked up drunk vietnam vet , long story short he beat the shit out of her one night and passed out afterwards . I found my mother beaten badly and him passed out cold with his bottle , I grabbed my grand fathers ancient 12 gauge and laid it upon the drunk bastards head , I stood there for a long time in deep thought and really could have pulled the trigger with no problems but my mind took over my emotions for good reason . In that time span holding this shotgun against the bastards head I realized he was already a dead man with no life to live . By allowing him to live I was giving him what he deserved as death was what he wished for himself .

I grew up knowing I did what was right in a sense but yet I promised my mother long ago to always do what is right , and allowing him to live was right in my situation as he eventually wound up in a Mental Home being speed with a spoon . It was alcohol that had finished pulling the trigger I let go of 20 years ago and I am a firm believer that what comes around and goes around will always come back eventually . In other words Karma and Fate are nothing to fuck with in my opinion .

sorry to hear but to the bolded that right there, is the reason I DO NOT support the death penalty . why become a murderer yourself for someone who only wishes death upon themselves. let them live with the pain turmoil and their emotional problems. don't ever give in

There are too many variables to say that death is never an option. As a taxpayer, I wish to never pay for a single meal or cell, or anything that gives these people anything remotely resembling a life.
I don't want to support the bastard that hurt my loved one for the rest of their life, because some ass wipe thinks they are mentally unstable . If it is proven beyond doubt that they killed wrongly, then it is time to go try your luck in a different plane. So I do support the death penalty, cause I want the victim/s to know, it will not, cannot happen again from that individual and they don't have to support them the rest of their lives too.

Peace

to each their own im of the opinion youre no better than the murderer by killing them . in the end youll be at the same table of judgement (I am not religious) but I don't see an eye for an eye . why should I murder someone and ruin my life because of anger? why should I have to deal with those thoughts for that. I dunno. oh I must add though I think no murder should be let out of jail and should be in solitary confinement with no human interaction for the rest of their lives in a 12x12 cellblock cell with a sealed door. not outside doing cardio and basketball and having meals with other inmates

Honestly, I beleive if someone has done something to warrant the possibility of the death penalty, they should rot in jail in solitary confinement... They clearly don't value the lives of others, so why should they be given the option to socialize and live a decent life? I get that these people often have drug/mental issues, but I've watched enough of The First 48 to know that 95% of the murderers out there only show the slightest bit of emotion when they realize they've been caught... and it's selfish emotion, knowing they're about to rot in jail, not that they just murdered an innocent person. I don't think they deserve to die, either, because that's almost like an escape for them... I personally think death is an easier alternative to living the rest of your life in jail. I think they deserve to suffer.

Of course, that only applies to cold blooded, horrible people... Not someone who shot and accidentally killed the person who was trying to rob them. I do hate paying for these people to live in jail with my tax money, but I think many prisons spend much more money than need be to "improve" the living conditions for inmates... So that is BS imo. But, if every murderer knew they would be humanely killed (not like they're going to get the electric chair anymore..) soon after committing a crime, I think that would give them even less incentive to think before they act.

Sorry if that makes no sense... I'm really stoned lol.

ding ding right on my money hon it isn't almost IT IS an escape. until someone can prove to me 150% that hell exists and that cold blooded murder is going to be suffering in pain in the afterlife I sure the fuck aint letting them escape. perhaps im a bit messed in the head to make them suffer for their entire life in a small cell with no human interaction so that cabin fever can take its course.
but that's just how I feel I think everyone is entitled to their opinion. I just am happy I live in a place that doesn't give these fucking sickos and break, I could never imagine what it would be like to be the person who injects these people on death row and give them their death. that person has to live with the thoughts that theyre killing people. its not about WHO is going under the needle or gas or whatever its WHO is giving it to them and WHAT THAT PERSON needs to live with the guilt and emotions they killed someone.

Like I said in my first post, we all wish for the good in most every situation, but until the blood is in your eye, it is pure speculation ( at best) of what you as an individual will do in that moment.
and that is what it is, for all of us.

People don't "rot" in prison, they're pampered and protected. Some people don't deserve to live.

[h=1]Death Row Inmate's Life Of 'Leisure': Danny Robbie Hembree Writes Shocking Letter[/h]
A North Carolina community is outraged by a death row inmate's public note outlining his life of "leisure" and mocking the families of his victims.
In an open letter to the The Gaston Gazette, convicted murderer Danny Robbie Hembree Jr. taunts a "cowardly" justice system and lists the luxuries he enjoys while locked up behind bars at Central Prison in Raleigh.
