Is cloning gel or power absolutely needed?

Should I wait till I have the gel or just go without?

I have never heard of "Monster Cropping" but I have taken cuts that far along and had 100% cloning in an aero-cloner. pH 5.5 weak nutrient solution. Aero-cloners seem to be able to clone just about anything regardless of health, just can take stupid long like 3 or 4 weeks in worst case. But if you want to try monster cropping again I would suggest picking one up. I always used to make mine over seas but here in America I have not found a box with a good lid and they leak, just buy one from amazon for $60.

You don’t really have to keep mothers to do clones. You just take a few off your favorite plants before you throw them into bloom to start the next generation. Then when those plants veg out you take more clones from the strongest of the plants and keep repeating the process. This assumes you keep with some sort of perpetual cycle or that you have at least 2 crop rotation bloom spaces. Then again it also depends on the length of your veg. If you veg a full 2 months like some people do, you wouldn’t really need a perpetual setup or multiple cycles.
But how do you know what's your favorite in veg?

Cut on 5-26, no slant cut, no gel, no clipping of leafs, no spraying the leafs, no dome, 5.8ph, 15watt 3000K led desk lamp, 18-6, 50%rh-74F, in a simple bottle of RO water. Got roots in 8 days. Notice the pic, when you cut at diagnal, your removing about 30% of the main area roots start growing from. Thats is why i never cut at angle, and your creating more stress then it needs, as to why i dont trim off the leafs, less stress.Transplanted into solo yesterday, in cocoloco, PH water to 5.8, put back under desk lamp, no spray, no cutting leafs, no dome. In a week, i will in grow area with 100 PAR, raise PH to 6.3, no dome, no leaf trimming, no spraying. 100% success like clockwork.
