I'm sorry to hear that bruh. Should have done more research instead of believing marketing hype. MARS is a very sub-par panel that grows herb, but is riddled with problems and uses crap technology.

Well....the initial reasoning was fir energy conservation & less heat regulation.....
With 3 800w units....ill still be running in comparison of 2x 1000w & 1x 400w......

Are the mars brand really that sub par? Reason i went with these is because i was reading a thread that stated by a few that these mars system actually out performed the black dog brand...

You're basically comparing a really bad light to an even worse light... yes, you could do worse than Mars. I grew two plants under a Mars 3w reflector series once, got about .5 g/w. It smoked fine, but you could do a lot better. Head to the LED sub-section of the Indoor section... lots to be learned there and you'll be better prepared when you go for your inevitable upgrade down the road.

you can get 1.5lbs out of a 4x4 using 800w of HPS. IF it is actually equal to 800w HPS as they claim then it is possible. and top bin COBS are hitting 1.2-1.5 gpw

Ill be running 3x 1600 (really 800w) in a 5x10 apollo tent, using a 4x8 flood table. Not sure if i want to run 32x 3 gal pots or 50x 2 gallon pots....
