you can hit gpw with even low end LEDs, just not with their stated wattage - use their actual wattage.

Like 150 grams from a single 300w led? Still seems like a lofty goalyou can hit gpw with even low end LEDs, just not with their stated wattage - use their actual wattage.

Actually.....i was being serious i just invested in 3x 700w mars LED systems because 2 different grow shops advised my yields would be higher...
Shit if I spent 550 bucks on a 139w light it better get those results lol1.47gpw on a 139w nextlight mini, http://rollitup.org/t/nextlight-mini-150w-grow.904028/page-5#post-12710944
You're basically comparing a really bad light to an even worse light... yes, you could do worse than Mars. I grew two plants under a Mars 3w reflector series once, got about .5 g/w. It smoked fine, but you could do a lot better. Head to the LED sub-section of the Indoor section... lots to be learned there and you'll be better prepared when you go for your inevitable upgrade down the road. Are the mars brand really that sub par? Reason i went with these is because i was reading a thread that stated by a few that these mars system actually out performed the black dog brand...
710w output power each, so if you can hit 1gpw thats 2.1kg or 4.7lbs per run. not too shabby.
you can get 1.5lbs out of a 4x4 using 800w of HPS. IF it is actually equal to 800w HPS as they claim then it is possible. and top bin COBS are hitting 1.2-1.5 gpwLol id like to see a grow journal. No fucken way is that going to happen. Even with a new cob led your never going to get that.
