Inauguration

But everything in the behavior of Trump’s opponents on the Left tells us they are determined to learn nothing from this past election and to double down on everything that drove voters into Trump’s camp.
We have learned not to underestimate the impact of sagging educational standards in the 80s and 90s. We have learned not to underestimate the analytical abilities of the American voter. We have learned that there are people so duplicitous that they will turn to America's foes to gain power. No we learned a lot.

Let’s start with the fact that protesting a presidential inauguration is a bad idea.

It has become their way of coping, I guess, with the rejection of their favored candidate by the American people.

This doesn’t really come across as a protest against Trump. It doesn’t even come across as a rejection of the American political system or the process of presidential succession...

They are protesting the fact that the rest of the American public isn’t good enough for them.
Why is it a bad idea? I reject all your points as unfounded. Protesting is part of the American process.

This all comes across as a statement of contempt for anyone who’s not on board with their political agenda. Or I should say another statement of contempt for their fellow citizens. Because that’s what the Left has been conveying all along, and it’s part of what drove people to Trump...

The strength of the religious vote for Trump initially mystified me, until I remembered the ferocity of the Left’s assault on religious believers...

A lot of Americans have become tired of being called racists and bigots...

So what are the inauguration protesters doing? Describing Trump voters as a bunch of fascists and backward redneck bigots whose opinions shouldn’t count.

You really seem to think that TRUMP! has some kind of mandate. He lost the popular vote by more than any other winning candidate and if the election were held today Hillary would have won. Or if you had removed the influence of Russia, it is quite possible that she would have anyway.

So keep sitting here giving yourself a public handjob over TRUMP! It only gets worse for you from now on.

at least you didn't copy and paste that. Maybe you should have.

It's all copy and paste from the article. I've found time and again here links are unread.

The Jews get a terrible rap but sadly, it's well deserved..history has it well documented.

Israel DOES belong to the Palestinians..just saying.
How exactly did Jews get a terrible rap that was well deserved. Could you please explain the part of history you are referring to. Thanks

Israel is awesome. Great fun there. Have you been or are you just judging based on what you want to believe?

What was the rights excuse in 2008?

Everything you just said could be spun and said same about how the right reacted when Obama was elected.

So much so, a new party was born -the tea.

The very person who delegitimized our last president is now president..fake news? Trump invented the phrase.

The religious wish to tell us how to live, what we can do with our own bodies..not satisfied with running their lives must run everyone else's.

Then we get into the argument about facts and how those on the right process them..they don't.
