Cheer up lol
Not in my nature/DNA I guess. (I'm Irish & too political)
I've been pissed off since 1963 (yea, I'm that old :) ) ever since I was told in my 2nd grade classroom that Kennedy was assassianated, and it's only gotten worse.
I think I have PTSD
Vietnam/RFK/MLK/Nixon/Reagan/Bush/Iraq/Afghanistan & now Trump/COVID-19.
The only things that cheer me up now is my son & my wife (her sometimes :) ) & smoking/drinking it seems.
Fucking Trump is driving me FUCKING NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GO THE FUCK AWAY & get the fuck out of my head.

I remember coming home from school and a neighborhood girl blurting it out as I neared home that Kennedy had been shot. It's true, you remember where you were when you heard the news, Pearl Harbor must have been like that, the moon landing sure was.

I remember Reagan getting shot and I saw the shuttle blow up.
I remember duck and cover cause the nukes are coming.
I remember voting for Ronald Reagan and having a terrible nightmare that night.

I wonder.what happened in June? According to the ny times https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/07/03/us/george-floyd-protests-crowd-size.html
"The recent Black Lives Matter protests peaked on June 6"

Out of how many countries that have significant air travel and accurate testing/reporting though?
You make more excuses than a high school kid who didn't do his homework.

If Trump had just promoted mask-wearing and took this epidemic seriously, 100,000 people would be alive today. If Trump had used the US government's purchasing power to negotiate large purchases of masks and ppe, states wouldn't have had to compete with each other to purchase them, saving billions of dollars that could be used productively to cut that toll even further in the form of whatever was needed -- food for those laid off, or dollars directed to the purchase of computers for school districts that could not afford them.

Trump, Republican leadership and especially his followers such as you show a lack of imagination and a low value for human life. Trump should be evaluated according to his performance. He failed and we replaced him.

Joe will have every rightwing wingnut in America gunning for him as he tries to do the right thing. Fortunately his secret service protection won't be just a job, it will be heart and soul after what Trump did to them. I'll bet Joe asked after their health and safety and of their families too, talks to them and doesn't treat them like furniture, probably knows a few personally or their bosses.

I got Joe figured for a real human being, he should get along well with the current pope who also happens to be human and an actual Christian too! Imagine that! He replaced a Donald too and might have some advice.

2) you keep saying police murder is common but the police kill only about 300 people of any race in a year that aren't actively threatening someone with a weapon, and only about 100 people a year of any race that are unarmed. In 2018 and 2019, less than 40 (34 I think 15 and 19 but I'm not looking up the exact number, might be 36) unarmed black men were killed by cops. Meanwhile 50 black men are shot by other black men every weekend in chicago, and that's just one city!

You don't care about the black people being killed as evidenced by your willingness to look the other way to the real problem (gang culture) and instead demonize the only community members working against it.

My father’s name is Donald. Joe Biden reminds very much of my father.

I watched the shuttle accident in real time, I'm a space fan too, you don't forget it, even if it's on TV, 911 was another one of those moments.

I was working at a dry cleaning business with a drive thru and we stepped out to watch it. Something you don’t forget.

In 2015, The Washington Post began to log every fatal shooting by an on-duty police officer in the United States. In that time there have been more than 5,000 such shootings recorded by The Post.

Despite the unpredictable events that lead to fatal shootings, police nationwide have shot and killed almost the same number of people annually — nearly 1,000 — since The Post began its project.

---

90% of whom are armed and 70% of whom are threatening or brandishing. Go see for yourself.
